Suzuki Burgman 125 Street automatic scooter fully REVEALED before launch [Video]

Suzuki Motorcycle India will soon officially launch the all-new Burgman Street 125 on the Indian market. The scooter is scheduled to be launched on 19th July 2018. Before the launch, the scooters have started reaching dealerships around India and have been spied too. Here is a detailed video of the Burgman Street 125 showing all its features.

The Burgman Street 125 was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo earlier this year. The Burgman Street 125 will the most expensive scooter from the brand and will be positioned above the Access 125. Suzuki is already a leader in the 125cc scooter segment and with the launch of the Burgman, Suzuki is expected to increase the lead.

The video completely reveals the India spec scooter. It shows the aggressive front apron of the scooter and the big angular headlamp up front. The scooter gets a small visor at the front and sharp apron shoulders. The handle of the scooter is quite thick and gets a plastic encasing. The handle moves free from the body of the scooter and the instrument console is placed behind the visor. The set-up is similar to the fully-faired bikes.

The Burgman 125 gets a lot of space between the seat and the front apron that makes it comfortable for those riders with a heavy body. The seat itself is contoured and gets a slight bump for the pillion rider. The body of the scooter gets layered panels that give it a very sharp look. The sleek design makes the scooter look very modern and advanced.

The scooter gets a fully digital instrument console and an LED headlamp and tail lamp. The exhaust looks very chunky with a faux cover on and a silver coloured tip. The grab rail of the scooter looks very stylish and gives a very modern look to the scooter.

The scooter rides on black coloured alloy wheels with front disc brakes and a rear drum brake. The scooter gets the combi-brake system that allows the rider to engage the front and rear brakes by only using the front brake lever.

The scooter will be powered by the same 124cc engine that is available with the Suzuki Access 125. It generates a maximum of 8.5 Bhp – 10.2 Nm in the Access 125 but it can be re-tuned for the Burgman Street 125 to make it perform better. It will take on the likes of the Honda Grazia and the Aprilia SR125 on the market.
