The new Gixxer SF ABS is available with both the carburetted and the fuel injected versions and will be available across all the Indian showrooms. The motorcycle is priced at Rs. 95,499 for the carburetted version and Rs. 99,312 for fuel-injected version, both prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
Suzuki previously offered the motorcycle without any ABS. Interestingly, Suzuki has not yet announced any plan of launching the naked version of the motorcycle with ABS.

“We are pleased to announce the ABS fitted variant of Gixxer SF. The safety and well-being of our customers is of paramount importance for us at Suzuki. The new variants not only enhance the rider’s safety, but also make every ride more exciting. We are confident that the new Gixxer SF variant will strengthen our foothold amongst the conscientious young riders who want to make a style statement, but also don’t want to compromise on their safety.”
The motorcycle is powered by 155cc air-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 14.6 Bhp and peak torque of 14 Nm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Suzuki Gixxer gets a sport twin-port exhaust muffler that gives it a heavy and unique exhaust note in the segment. The Gixxer comes with a fully digital instrument cluster that shows various data from the motorcycle including speed, odo reading, trip reading and fuel level.
The motorcycle also comes with 7-step adjustable rear mono shock and telescopic 41mm front forks. The rear 140/60 section rear radial tyre looks quite good on the motorcycle. It still comes with the same colour scheme and specifications. the front mudguard comes with a small sticker that identifies the ABS version of the motorcycle.
