Like we’ve been saying, Royal Enfield motorcycles serve as a canvas for many motorcycle customizers across the country. We’ve come across many tastefully modified Royal Enfield motorcycles that look really stunning. One such motorcycle is the custom-made bobber by Gujarat-based PMS Motorcycles. This Royal Enfield 350-based motorcycle has been named ‘Torpedo’.
As you can see in the image above, the custom motorcycle looks a lot more special than a regular Royal Enfield model. Its front-end features a new head lamp and a new fender. The motorcycle gets new multi-spoke alloy wheels shod with new tyres. The motorcycle gets a custom fuel tank that offers knee recess. The original seat has been replaced with a custom single-seat unit. The original side panels have been retained. The engine and the cycle parts have been painted black and the panels get a wine red shade.
Other details of this custom motorcycle include a performance exhaust system, a flatter handlebar and a sleek rear fender. The original suspension has been retained. Except for the black paint finish, even the engine remains untouched. This means that powering this custom Royal Enfield is a 346-cc, single-cylinder engine that outputs a maximum power of 19.8 Bhp at 5,250 RPM and a peak torque of 28 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The motor comes mated to a five-speed transmission. We feel that this Royal Enfield-based bobber looks far more stunning than the regular RE models.
Mehul Patil, the key person from the bike customising workshop, shared some of the details of the bike:
“Recently we have built a bobber motorcycle on Royal Enfield standard 350, named Torpedo. The bike has 5-inch longer wheelbase than original Enfield bikes, The bike got high-quality wine red colour with custom pin-striping and a little blue pearl touch which gives a classic combination and different shadows from different angles and lights. It also has a leather custom seat with custom stitching, the custom exhaust got nice notes to attract. All motorcycles contain highly engineered and manufactured CNC made T-SET and all other parts. Eventually, beauty with great engineering is the right combination for a successful motorcycle or the manufacturer.”
