Tata Altroz iCNG: New TVC of the just-launched premium hatchback

Tata Motors recently launched the newest CNG iteration of its premium hatchback, the Altroz iCNG, in the country, starting at a price of Rs 7.55 lakh. This new CNG hatchback has been introduced with twin-cylinder technology, a first in India. With this innovative technology, the company has managed to fit two individual cylinders in the back of the Altroz iCNG, providing more space in the boot compared to other CNG cars in the market. The company has also released a new television commercial to highlight these features.

The latest television commercial from Tata Motors has been shared on the brand’s social media channels and television to promote the newly launched Altroz iCNG. The commercial begins with a female actress mentioning that a CNG car offers ample mileage but lacks in boot space. As she says this, an Altroz iCNG drifts in front of her. The video then shows another actor standing with a roof carrier, stating that when you purchase a CNG car, buying a carrier is a must. Once again, another Altroz iCNG drifts in front of him.

Following this, a group of friends with backpacks is seen asking how a road trip can be done in a CNG car. Another Altroz iCNG then drives in reverse in front of them. Lastly, a man standing on the street states that compromises must be made when buying a CNG car, and another Altroz iCNG approaches him. In the next segment, all the people in the video become shocked after seeing that the boot space in the Altroz iCNG has not been compromised due to the dual cylinder technology. The video then showcases additional premium features such as a wireless charger, voice-activated sunroof, and air purifier.

The newest CNG hatchback, Altroz iCNG, will be offered in six variants: XE, XM+, XM+(S), XZ, XZ+(S), and XZ+O(S). It is available in four color options: Opera Blue, Downtown Red, Arcade Grey, and Avenue White. The model, as mentioned earlier, features the country’s first twin-cylinder technology. In terms of safety measures with the new CNG technology, the Altroz iCNG includes a micro-switch that keeps the car switched off during refueling. The vehicle is also equipped with thermal incident protection, which shuts off the CNG supply to the engine and releases petrol into the environment as a safety measure.

The Altroz iCNG also comes with an industry-first advanced Single ECU and features Direct Start in CNG mode, allowing for smooth shifting between petrol and CNG modes. Additionally, the enhanced rear body structure and 6-point mounting system for the CNG tanks provide additional rear crash safety for the Altroz iCNG. In terms of power, it is equipped with a 1.2L Revotron engine, generating a maximum power of 73.5 PS and a torque of 103 Nm.

In terms of features, the Altroz iCNG offers projector headlamps, LED DRLs, R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, an 8-speaker touchscreen infotainment system by Harman™ with Android Auto™ and Apple Carplay™ connectivity, premium leatherette seats, fully automatic climate control, rear AC vents, height-adjustable driver seat, and other amenities.
