The price for the new CAMO special edition starts at Rs 16.5 lakh, ex-showroom. The Harrier is a popular SUV in the segment and is the flagship offering from Tata Motors. Tata has been releasing number of TVCs for the all new CAMO edition and here we have two such new videos.
The videos have been shared by Tata Motors on their official youtube channel. The first video shows how the new CAMO edition is different from regular version whereas the second video is all about the range of accessories that the CAMO edition gets. Harrier got an update earlier this year and with that update, it had received couple of more features. The new features where a huge panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVMs, redesigned ORVMs an automatic transmission and a BS6 compliant engine. All these changes have definitely made Harrier a bit more popular in the market and is now a common sight on our roads.
What differentiates CAMO edition from Dark or regular Harrier is its deep olive green paint job. The Harrier looks extremely good in this colour scheme. The colur enhances the butch look of the SUV and gives it a dominating look. The 17 inch all black alloy wheels also add to the overall look of the car. Apart from these, the interiors get an all-black treatment. The black leather seats gets contrasting green stitches on them and the silver finished elements now get a gunmetal grey treatment.
The second video, as mentioned above is all about the accessories that are available in Harrier CAMO edition’s stealth pack. There are special body graphics with bi-arrow design on it. It can be seen on the roof, bonnet, and lower part of the door as well. Harrier Mascot for bonnet is also available in the Harrier along with roof rails and back seat organisers. Omega ARC scuff plates, 3D trunk mat and printed carpets are also included in this package. Anti skid mats, sunshades, side steps, front parking sensors are also included in the stealth package. Tata Harrier is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine which is available with a 6-speed manual and a Hyundai sourced 6-speed automatic gearbox. The engine now generates a maximum of 170 Ps and 350 Nm of torque which is 30 Ps more than the BS4 version.
The Harrier is a well-built mid-sized SUV that competes with the likes of the MG Hector, Jeep Compass and Mahindra XUV500. In price terms, it also competes with the 2020 Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks and the Renault Duster Turbo Petrol. While the Harrier is currently a diesel-only offering, a turbocharged petrol variant is said to be in the works.
