Earlier, the brochure pictures of the Tata Harrier Dark edition revealed all the details of the car. As the name suggests, the Tata Harrier Dark edition will get an all-black theme without any chrome or any other contrasting colour on its exterior. The Harrier looks quite imposing on the roads, especially because of its imposing design. The split headlamps on the wide body of the Harrier makes it easily noticeable on the roads. The black colour of the vehicle further makes it look like a real badass.
It should be noted that currently, Tata offers as many as seven different colours on the Harrier. However, just like many other models, Tata does not offer a black colour with the Harrier. Tata has not mentioned any details about the upcoming Harrier Dark edition. It also not known if the Dark edition will be available for a limited time and number or it will be added permanently to the line-up.
The changes done to the Tata Harrier Dark edition are quite expansive. The vehicle gets the new colour, which is called the Atlas Black, also, there are new 17-inch alloy wheels, which again are black in colour. The SUV also gets the special “Dark Edition” badges that are placed above the front wheel arches of the vehicle. Other than that, the headlamp bezels have been updated and they are now in grey colour. Also, the car gets blacked-out door handles and Blackstone front and rear skid plates. The Tata Harrier Dark edition surely looks extremely intimidating.
The upcoming Dark Edition will not only get the changes on the outside. The cabin of the Tata Harrier Dark Edition gets a new Blackstone Matrix colour, which adds a sporty touch to the cabin. Also, the colour of the upholstery including the door pads has been updated to the black colour. The dark Berecke-Kaliko leather seats get a contrasting grey colour stitching. The interior door handles also get the perforated Blackstone leather wrap.
The vehicle will be available only in a single variant and it will be equivalent to the XZ trim of the SUV. Mechanically, it will remain unchanged and it will be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 140 PS and peak torque of 350 Nm.
