A Tata Manza with dual tone (brick orange/ black) exteriors was spotted testing with a temporary registration plate.
There were no badges on the boot of the car and speculations are ripe that Tata Motors is planning to launch a special/limited edition of the Manza sedan. The test mule spotted had a black roof and black recess for the registration plate integrated with the boot lid.

The black recess had a small indentation on the left side which seems to be an oddly placed reverse camera. Apart from these, look-wise, the test mule was same as the regular model. The front of the test mule had no visual changes. The alloy wheels had the same pattern as in the current Manza Elan (top-end) variant. Also read: Most spacious diesel sedans under 7 lakh: Guide
Tata Motors launched the Manza Elan in February 2011 in a Tyrian wine color, refreshed dual tone interiors and new features. However, no limited edition or new variants of the Manza have been launched for the past one year.

Hence, a Manza limited edition launch during the upcoming festival season (September – October 2012) may help the company attract more buyers and thereby increase its sales.
The Manza is offered in both petrol and diesel variants. The Manza petrol is powered by a 1.4-litre motor that puts out 89 Bhp of power while the Manza diesel is powered by a 1.3-litre motor that puts out 89 Bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The ARAI-certified mileage of the Manza is 13.70 kmpl for the petrol version and 21.1 kmpl for the diesel version.
