3 NEW TATA CARS LAUNCHING 2024

Tata Motors is one of the leading car manufacturers in India. They have a variety of products in their lineup and are working on new products to further expand their portfolio. Tata is also a major brand when it comes to EVs. Here we have a list of three big launches that we expect from Tata this year.

Tata Nexon iCNG

Nexon is currently one of the most popular compact SUVs sold in India. Tata revolutionized the CNG segment with their twin-cylinder technology, which offers the convenience of CNG without compromising boot space. Similarly, Tata introduced the Tiago AMT iCNG and Tigor iCNG AMT. This was the first time we have seen a CNG vehicle offered with an automatic transmission.

Tata Nexon CNG

This year at the Bharat Mobility Expo, Tata showcased a CNG version of the Nexon SUV. The launch is expected to happen sometime later this year. When it is launched, Nexon will be the first turbocharged vehicle to come with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The SUV will be powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, generating less power and torque than the regular petrol version. The CNG version is also expected to be at least 1 lakh more expensive than the equivalent petrol version.

Tata Altroz Racer

This is a concept that we first saw at the Auto Expo last year. For Tata, the Altroz Racer is what the i20 N Line is for Hyundai. It is a sportier-looking version of the regular premium hatchback. The Altroz Racer has been spotted testing a couple of times, and images of the same are also available online.

The premium hatchback will be powered by the same 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine; however, it will generate more power than before. The Racer version of the Altroz is expected to generate 120 PS paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The regular iTurbo version generates 10 PS less and has only 5 gears.

The Altroz Racer gets a blacked-out bonnet, roof, and tailgate. The rest of the body is finished in a red or orange shade. There are white racing stripes on the bonnet to give it a sporty look. The car is expected to offer all the features of the regular Altroz. It will also come with a segment-first feature, which is front ventilated seats. It will also offer a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, HUD, and many more features.

Tata Curvv

This is an all-new product that Tata has been teasing for quite some time. We saw the concept and near-production concept of the Tata Curvv mid-size SUV at the Auto Expo last year. The SUV has been spotted testing on our roads several times, and the production and launch are expected to happen in the next few months. The SUV is expected to arrive during the festive season.

Tata is expected to launch the electric version of the Curvv first. This means Tata will be ahead of its rivals like the Creta EV and Maruti eVX. At the moment, technical specifications of the upcoming Tata Curvv are not known. The SUV is expected to offer a claimed range of 450-500 km.

Tata Curvv CNG

Tata will also launch an ICE version of the Curvv with both petrol and diesel engine options. The SUV will use a brand new 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine that generates 125 PS and will come with both manual and automatic transmission options. The diesel version will use the 1.5-liter turbocharged unit and will be offered with a manual and AMT gearbox option. Tata Curvv will be offered with several premium features to keep up with the competition. The ICE version of Curvv is expected to be launched by the end of 2024 or early 2025.
