Tata Motors launched the much-awaited Safari last month. Tata is offering various accessory packs for the Safari. Now, the homegrown manufacturer has launched ceramic coating for the Safari. Usually, some people opt for the ceramic coating from after-market shops because the manufacturer does not offer it from the factory. Tata Motors is the first automobile manufacturer to offer in house ceramic coating. It is priced at Rs. 28,500(inclusive of GST) and the service will be available across all authorised Tata Motors dealerships. Tata will soon be offering this service for all vehicles. Obviously, the prices will vary depending on the vehicle.

Tata Motors will also offer the Safari with Pentacare Extended Warranty. There will be three options on offer:- 2+1 years/ 1.15 Lakh kms (whichever occurs first ), 2+2 years/ 1.30 Lakh kms whichever occurs first ) and 2+3 years (Pentacare) /unlimited km.
The warranty package covers various important maintenance services and parts that are critical for your vehicle to function properly. It covers the engine, fuel system, transmission system, engine management system, gearbox, air conditioning system and much more. Any breakdown related to malfunctioning of suspension and clutch is also covered in the Extended Warranty for up to 50,000 km.
Tata Motors also launched Value Car that is an Annual Maintenance Contract. It guarantees protection against unexpected repair cost and provides substantial savings through protection against inflation & price volatility of lubricants during the functioning of the vehicle. There are three plans that Tata is offering. There is Value Care Gold, Value Care Promise to Protect and Value Care Silver. Depending on the plan, it will cover unexpected wear and tear repairs for vehicle parts, oil replacements, consumables, service parts and regular servicing of your vehicles at stipulated & recommended periods.
Tata Safari starts from Rs. 14.69 lakhs ex-showroom for the base variant while the top-end variant costs Rs. 21.45 lakhs ex-showroom. The Safari is offered in six variants, namely XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+. There is also an Adventure Edition offered by Tata Motors that comes with blacked-out bits for the exterior and the cabin is also finished in a different colour. It is offered only with a 2.0-litre Kyrotec diesel engine that produces 170 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 350 Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
