Homegrown car manufacturer Tata Motors had officially launched the all-new 2021 Safari in the market earlier this week. The Safari has already started reaching the dealerships and the deliveries have also started. Tata Motors has delivered the first all-new Safari in Punjab to actor, singer and director Mr. Parmish Verma. The actor took delivery of the all-new Safari from RSA Motors, a Tata Motors authorized dealership in Chandigarh. Prices for the all-new Tata Safari start from Rs 14.69 lakh, ex-showroom and go up till Rs 21.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
After Taking the delivery of First Safari, Mr. Parmish Verma said, “I wanted to own the all-new Tata Safari since its launch announcement. I have been a fan of the Tata Safari since my childhood and was fortunate enough to own the earlier generation Safari too. I am delighted that Tata Motors has brought back the Safari in such a modern avatar & also thankful to Tata Motors for not just quickly delivering the iconic SUV to me but also making me the 1st customer in all of Punjab. The new Safari is modern, stylish and I cannot wait to flaunt my new drive as I take it out to conquer the roads with my family and friends.”
The actor had bought top-end XZA+ automatic variant of the SUV. It comes with features like huge panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable driver seat, captain seats, touchscreen infotainment screen, iRA connected car features, Oyster white interiors, Ashwood grey themed dashboard and so on. Tata Safari is available with both 6 and 7 seater options.

Tata Harrier is based on Harrier SUV that was introduced to Indian market back in 2019. The all-new Safari is based on the same platform as Harrier but, is taller and longer than Harrier. It is powered by the same engine as Harrier. It gets a 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates 170 Ps and 350 Nm of peak torque. It comes with both 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission option. Tata is also offering an Adventure edition which is based on the XZ+ trim of Safari.
In Punjab, while the overall auto industry de-grew, Tata Motors has registered a 40% growth YTD FY21 in overall PVs and a 16% growth in the SUV segment alone. In a challenging year, Tata Motors has exhibited a stellar performance in the passenger vehicles market in India last year, by clocking in over 23,000 unit sales every month successively from October 2020.
