This rendering is made by Shreyas S Patil and it is inspired by Tata’s IMPACT 2.0 design language. The rendered image follows Tata’s latest IMPACT 2.0 design language and looks very modern. The artist has given it the front-end inspired by the Altroz and the Harrier. The car gets a sleek grille that extends to form the LED DRLs on either side. The main headlamp cluster is located below and is located in the bumper. It sure looks extremely good and modern with the design.

On the side, the design render shows that the MPV will get the signature beltline that has been spotted on the new-generation Tata cars including the Nexon and Altroz. The window line of the car looks upswept that adds an aggressive look to the car. Tata is likely to offer a modern looking MPV.

The new MPV will be based on the ALFA platform and it will directly take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Mahindra Marazzo. It should be noted that even Hyundai is planning to launch an MPV in the segment in the coming times. The MPV segment is currently dominated by Maruti Suzuki with the Ertiga and its premium version – the XL6.

Tata’s MPV is likely to be launched in a 7-seater and 6-seater version. The dashboard will be heavily inspired by the Tata Altroz, which means that the upcoming MPV will get a floating-type screen and a modern-looking layout. Tata offers a long list of features with its current line of vehicles and the upcoming MPV is likely to offer the same.

Engine-wise, we will get to see both petrol and diesel engine options with the all-new MPV. Tata currently offers the 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and the 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel with the Nexon and similar options will be available with the MPV. Also, we will get to see the choice of automatic transmission options.

The new MPV is currently is in the inception stage and it will take a few years before it becomes a reality. Even though this rendered image is purely based on the artist’s imagination, it has enough elements of current Tata cars, which give us a fair idea on what the car will look like in the future.
