Tata Motors is rolling out tempting discounts on the Tiago EV, targeting both the remaining MY2023 stocks and the latest MY2024 units. The extent of these discounts varies across dealers, contingent on their inventory levels. The comprehensive offerings comprise cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and a ‘green bonus,’ serving as an extra incentive for patrons embracing electric vehicles.

For the MY2024 Tiago EV, customers can avail a total discount of up to Rs 35,000, encompassing an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a green bonus of Rs 20,000, applicable across all variants. In contrast, the older Tiago EV models present a more substantial discount of up to Rs 80,000, inclusive of an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a remarkable green bonus of up to Rs 65,000. Positioned against competitors like MG Comet, Citroen eC3, and Tata Punch EV, the Tiago EV is priced competitively, ranging from Rs 8.69 lakh to 12.04 lakh. The Tiago EV is offered with Medium Range and Long Range battery options. The mid-range variant, featuring a 19.2kWh battery, provides a range of 250km on the MIDC cycle. On the other hand, the long-range variant boasts a larger 24kWh battery, extending the range to 315km on the MIDC cycle, with an output of 74hp and 114Nm.

Furthermore, Tata Motors extends substantial discounts on the Tigor EV, a compact sedan alternative to the Tiago EV. Customers can enjoy a total discount of up to Rs 1.05 lakh, incorporating a flat cash discount of Rs 75,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 across all variants. The Tigor EV, boasting an ARAI-claimed range of 315km, relies on a 26kWh lithium-ion unit. This battery powers a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, delivering 75hp and 170Nm of torque. Priced between Rs 12.49 lakh and 13.75 lakh, the Tigor EV stands as a unique proposition in the market, free from direct rivals.
