With Women’s Day being celebrated around the world, the automobile manufacturers have also wished the women brigade in unique ways. Tata Motors has released a new video with the Tata Altroz to wish women around the world and to celebrate the day. Here is the video.
In the video, Tata Motors show women from different sectors including defence, sports and more. Also, the video shows Altroz’s character and uses it to show how women can fit different roles perfectly.

Women’s day is celebrated to focus on equal rights for women and it is celebrated around the world on 8th March. The first gathering to celebrate the day and create awareness among the women happened in 1911. Since then, women day is celebrated around the world on the same date every year.
Tata launched the new Altroz i-TURBO earlier this year in the Indian market. It is the most powerful variant of the car and is powered by the same 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that is available with the Nexon in the market. In the Altroz i-TURBO, the same engine produces a maximum power of 110 PS and peak torque of 140 Nm. It only gets a manual transmission. In fact, even the other two engine options of the Altroz do not offer any automatic transmission at the moment. However, Tata may launch an automatic option with the Altroz soon in the Indian market.
Tata also launched the all-new Safari in the Indian market recently. It is the brand’s second vehicle based on the OMEGA-Arc platform and is the only seven-seater vehicle in the line-up. the Safari is already gaining popularity in the market and the waiting period is also increasing with time.
Tata’s upcoming cars
Tata has already launched two vehicles in the Indian market this year. The brand will launch the all-new HBX concept-based production version by the end of this year. It will be an entry-level micro SUV and will be positioned below the Tata Nexon. With the all-new car, Tata will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Mahindra KUV100. Also, the upcoming micro SUV from Hyundai, which is currently codenamed the AX will compete with the upcoming Tata HBX.
Tata is also working on a range of upcoming electric cars for the Indian market. The Tata Nexon EV is already a successful car in the Indian market and it is also the best-selling car in the segment. Tata will also launch the Altroz EV in the Indian market, which will be priced lower than the Nexon. Other than that, Tata may launch more electric cars in the Indian market to keep the first move advantage.
Tata Motors saw massive growth in the Indian market. In January 2021, Tata Motors sold 94% more vehicles compared to January 2020. The manufacturer’s overall sales are also on the rise. With the new upcoming models, Tata Motors is likely to gain even more customers in the coming months.
