Tata Nexon has emerged as the best selling SUV in the Indian market for the 2022 fiscal year. Tata Motors sold more units of Nexon than Hyundai Creta which is a big deal. This has been possible because of the good sales number of Nexon EV. Tata Motors sold 1,24,130 units of Nexon whereas Hyundai sold 118,092 units of Creta. So, why does everyone is buying Nexon?

Tata Motors offers a variety of variants to choose from. The Nexon is being offered in five variants, there are XE, XM, XZ, XZ+, and XZ+(O). You can also get a Dark Edition. Moreover, the AMT gearbox is offered with XM, XZ, XZ+ and XZ+(O) variants. Because of so many variants, the customers can find a variant that full fills their needs.
The Nexon EV adds significant sales numbers!
The electric version of the Nexon is considered to be one of the best electric vehicles that you can get on the market right now. Multiple powertrains and gearbox options
Tata Motors offers the Nexon with a diesel as well as a petrol engine. The diesel engine produces 110 Ps of max power and 260 Nm of peak torque whereas the petrol engine produces 120 Ps of max power and 170 Nm of peak torque. So, the power and torque outputs are quite healthy and they return a decent fuel efficiency too. Both the engines are offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed AMT transmission. There are three drive modes on offer, City, Eco and Sport.
Butch looks
With the facelift Nexon, Tata Motors enhanced the appeal of the Nexon significantly. The revised front end looks miles better when compared to the pre-facelift version. The sleek projector headlamps redesigned LED Daytime Running Lamps, aggressive bumper and flat bonnet gives an imposing SUV-like look. Many people consider the Nexon to look like the Land Rover Discovery.

Tata Motors is continuously working on improving and expanding the feature list of their vehicles. The Nexon comes with a touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, auto-fold ORVMs with electric adjustment, all power windows, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, electric sunroof, multi-function steering wheel, rear AC vents, voice alerts, keyless entry, push-button to start-stop the engine, cruise control and connected car technology. Recently, Tata Motors also added ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVM, air purifier and leather seats.

Tata Nexon is currently one of the safest compact SUVs that you can buy. It scored 5 stars on the Global NCAP crash test. Moreover, Tata Motors offers many safety features as standard. Nexon comes with dual airbags, an Electric Stability Program, Electric Traction Control, Roll-over Mitigation, Hydraulic Brake Assist, Hill-hold Control, Electric Brake Pre-fill, Brake Disc Wiping, puncture repair kit and ISOFIX child seat mounts as standard. On higher variants you get, tyre pressure monitoring system and valet mode.
