Tata Nexon crosses 4 lakh total sales, new variant XZ+(L) launched

Since its launch, the country’s third largest automotive manufacturer Tata Motors has enjoyed tons of success with its subcompact SUV Nexon. Over the years Nexon has managed to retain one of the top spots on the best sellers list and owing to this the car has now reached the massive milestone of 4 lakh sales in the nation. So to commemorate the achievement of this feat, Tata Motors has launched a new variant called the Nexon XZ+(L) at an attractive price of INR. 11,37,900 (ex-showroom New Delhi).

Tata Motors rolled the 4,00,000th unit of Nexon from its Ranjangaon manufacturing facility in Pune. The period between each milestone of 1 lakh units created since launch was shortened by the company, which made this accomplishment in just seven months after reaching its 300K milestone, illustrating the phenomenal success and growth of the Nexon brand. The Nexon, which topped sales rankings and had a staggering 72% YTD rise.

The new XZ+(L) model will be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions and petrol and diesel powertrains. The Nexon XZ+(L) will be available for purchase across all the dealerships of Tata Motors in the country. Interesting features on this new Tata Motors model will include a wireless charger, heated leatherette seats, an air purifier, and an auto-dimming IRVM. The new XZ+(L) model will also be available in Nexon’s #Dark edition.

In other Tata Motors news, recently the company on the occasion of World EV Day announced plans for the expansion of its portfolio to make EVs more accessible in India. Announcing its plans on World EV Day, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. said,
