Tata Motors is one of the popular Indian car manufacturer. Tata Nexon from the brand is currently their offering in the sub-4 meter SUV segment. This is a very competitive segment with rivals like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport in the segment. Tata Nexon is currently one of the safest sub-4 meter SUV in the country. It had scored a 5 star rating at Global NCAP crash test. We have seen a lot of modification videos on the Nexon in the past. Here we have a video that shows a Tata Nexon XMS variant installed with genuine accessories from Tata.
The video has been uploaded by Ujjwal Saxena on his youtube channel. The video starts with vlogger giving a walkaround of all the genuine accessories installed on the SUV. The XMS trim of the Nexon does not come with a fog lamp. If the customer wants, he can install a LED fog lamp from the dealership as an accessory. The price for installing a foglamp is Rs 8,000. The turn indicators will be placed right next to the fog lamp as it is a lower variant.

Moving to the side profile, the main attraction is the machine cut dual tone alloy wheels. This is normally not available in the lower trims. The 16 inch alloy wheel is available as an accessory on all trims. The total price of installing alloy wheels on Nexon as per the videos is almost Rs 38,000. The other accessories installed are rain visors with chrome outline and a chrome beading on the side cladding. Price for both these items are Rs 3,027 and Rs 2,750 respectively. Moving to the rear, there is chrome garnish on the boot lip and on the inside, it gets parcel tray which is priced at Rs 1,902. Tata is also offering a genuine car cover and boot floor mat for Tata Nexon.
On the inside, Nexon gets illuminated scuff plate at Rs 2,345. Nexon comes with fabric upholstery on the lower variants. Tata is offering seat covers. Variety of options are available when it comes to seat covers. Price of the seat cover seen in the video is Rs 6,856. On the inside, the Nexon also gets an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment screen from Blaupunkt. The cost installing this touchscreen system with reverse parking camera is Rs 32,190. The accessories that are seen in the video is not limited to the XMS trim. It can be installed on any of the lower variants.
Coming back to Nexon, Tata launched the Nexon facelift in the market earlier in 2020 as part of the BS6 transition. It received cosmetic changes and that enhanced the overall look of the car. Nexon’s XMS trim is actually the most affordable sub-4 meter SUV with electric sunroof option. It is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is powered by a 1.2 litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates 120 Ps and 170 Nm of torque. The diesel version is powered by a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine that generates 110 Ps and 260 Nm of peak torque. Bot petrol and diesel engine options are available with manual and AMT gearbox options. Tata has also launched an all-electric version of Nexon and is currently the most popular electric SUV in the market.
