Tata Motors has come up with a new accessory pack for the Nexon, Harrier, Hexa, Tiago and Tigor. Called the Pro Pack, this accessory package is a dealer level fitment, and comprises of a sunroof, front parking sensors, magnetic sunshades, a rear armrest, mood lighting, rear view mirror mounted reverse camera display, a vehicle tracking system, app based tyre pressure monitoring system and a smartphone holder. These accessories are certified by Tata Motors, and will not affect the regular warranty of the car. These accessories come in various packages for each of the five Tata cars and are meant to make them more appealing during the festive season. The best part is the pricing, which is extremely affordable.
These accessories also fill in the gaps that exist in terms of features offered on hot selling Tata cars such as the Nexon and Harrier. For instance, the sunroof is a highly sought after feature that Tata Motors doesn’t offer as standard on both the Nexon and Harrier. Through this accessory pack, the sunroof need is fulfilled. Similarly, the reverse parking camera integrated into the inner rear view mirror makes the Tiago a lot more appealing. Coming to car wise Pro Pack accessory package, it costs Rs. 30,000 for the the Tata Tiago and Tigor. On the Tiago, the Pro Pack consists of a sunroof, magnetic sunshades, a rear armrest, mood lighting and reverse camera display integrated into the rear view mirror. The Tigor gets the same package save for the reverse camera, which is replaced by a vehicle tracking system.
As for the Nexon, the accessory package is priced at Rs. 38,000, and it gets all the accessories that’s offered on the Tigor but with the app-based tyre pressure monitoring system as an extra. The Hexa’s accessory pack costs Rs. 1 lakh, and comes with an electric sunroof, wireless charging, mood lighting, front parking sensors and tyre pressure monitoring system. The Harrier also gets an electric sunroof, magnetic sunshade, front parking sensors, wireless charging, chrome trim on the sides and for the exhaust tips, and Harrier badging on the bonnet, and the accessory pack is priced at Rs. 1.1 lakh.
Tata Motors has been one of the automakers worst hit with the sales slump that the Indian car industry is going through. The latest set of accessory packages at affordable prices should make Tata cars and SUVs a lot more attractive to buyers now that the GST rate cut has not come through.
