The discount season is fresh again with the onset of the month of April and almost all manufacturers are offering attractive schemes and discounts to bring in customers towards their dealerships. Joining the list of manufacturers offering discounts this month are Tata and Honda, both of whom are giving decent discounts on their model lineup. If you have been planning to buy a car from either Tata or Honda, here is a detailed discount and offers list laid out model-wise.
Tata
Apart from the listed discounts, the following Tata cars are also being offered with a corporate discount between Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 5,000 for employees of select MNCs.
Tiago
Max. Discount: Rs. 20,000
The Tata Tiago is currently the best selling vehicle in the company’s model lineup. The popular hatchback rivals the likes of the Hyundai Santro and Maruti Suzuki Celerio among others in the segment. As for the discounts, the hatchback is being offered with discounts up to around Rs. 20,000 this month. The discount scheme includes an exchange bonus worth Rs. 10,000 along with the first year insurance at a discounted price of Rs. 4,000. However, these discount schemes don’t apply to the XZ Plus variant.
Tigor
Max. Discount: Rs. 50,000
The Tata Tigor rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Honda Amaze among others in its segment. The subcompact sedan is being offered with total discounts up to Rs. 50,000 this April. The discount scheme on the car includes a direct cash discount of Rs. 25,000 along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 25,000. This makes the subcompact hatchback a pretty decent value for package car this April. Also, the discount offers are only applicable on the petrol powered models.
Nexon
Max. Discount: 35,000
Among the best selling sub-4 meter SUVs on sale in India, the Tata Nexon too is running on discounts this April. The car is being offered with a total discount worth Rs. 35,000. For the petrol powered variants, the company is offering only Rs. 15,000 in the form of an exchange bonus. However, for the diesel models, Tata is offering Rs. 15,000 as direct cash discount along with Rs. 20,000 as exchange bonus.
Hexa
Max. Discount: 45,000
The current flagship vehicle of Tata, the Hexa is an SUV-crossover design vehicle that comes with a 4×4 drivetrain option too. As for the discounts, the company is offering discounts up to Rs. 45,000 on the Hexa this April. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback worth Rs. 20,000 along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 25,000. The flagship status of the Hexa will move to the Cassini when it gets launched by the end of this year.
Honda
Jazz
Max. Discount: 30,000
Rivalling the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Hyundai Elite i20, the Jazz is the premium hatchback offering from Honda. The stylish hatchback is being offered with discounts approximately up to Rs. 30,000 this month. Talking about the discount scheme, the company is offering an exchange bonus worth Rs. 15,000 on the car along with a free 1st-year insurance cover.
Amaze
Discount offer: Free 5 year warranty + Exchange bonus
The Honda Amaze has been consistently bringing in good sales numbers for the company and is among top selling cars in its segment. The Amaze is currently available with Honda’s Pro Care package which translates into a total 5 Year Warranty including add on extended warranty. Along with this, there is also a 3 Year Honda Care Service AMC Package on offer. Also, you can opt for another discount package which consists of the extended warranty along with an exchange bonus.
WR-V
Max. Discount: 30,000
The Honda WR-V is a crossover style vehicle that takes on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport and the Tata Nexon among others in its segment. As for the discounts, the car is being offered with a discount approximately worth Rs. 30,000 this month. Speaking of which, Honda is offering an exchange bonus worth Rs. 15,000 on the car along with a free 1st year insurance cover.

Next in line is the Honda City, which is the all-time favourite C-segment sedan in India. It rivals the likes of the Hyundai Verna and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz among others in its segment. As for the discounts, the City is being offered with discounts approximately worth Rs. 45,000 this month. The discount scheme on the car includes an exchange bonus worth Rs. 20,000 along with free first-year insurance.
BR-V
Max. Discount: Rs. 80,000 (approx)
Rival to the likes of the Hyundai Creta and Nissan Kicks, the Honda BR-V too is running on decent discounts this April. In fact, it is available with the highest discount among all the Honda cars here, valued at approximately Rs. 80,000. The discount offer includes an exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000 along with free 1st-year insurance. Apart from this, Honda is also offering accessories worth Rs. 16,000 with the car. The comfortable 7 seater car, therefore, is a decent value for money package this month because of the discounts.
