Tata Nexon to Mahindra XUV500: 13 SUVs with discounts up to Rs. 9.6 lakhs

SUVs have been one of the most popular vehicles in recent times. With the new SUVs arriving in the market and festive season around the corner, manufacturers are offering discounts on the cars to attract the customers. Here are 13 such SUVs with discounts for the month of October.

SsangYong Rexton

Discount up to Rs. 9.6 lakhs

Mahindra will soon launch the Mahindra XUV 700, which will replace the SsangYong Rexton from the market. The current model, however, is available with a huge discount. Mahindra is offering up to Rs. 9.6 lakhs to clear out the current stock. The full-size SUV that competes with the likes of Toyota Fortuner in the Indian market is available for around Rs. 14 lakhs after the discounts! Mahindra is offering Rs. 9 lakh cash discount, Rs. 50,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 10,000 corporate discount on the SUV.

Mahindra XUV 500

Discount up to Rs. 1.75 lakhs

Mahindra recently launched the facelifted XUV 500 in India with a more powerful diesel engine and a host of new features. However, there are many pre-facelifted XUV 500 in the showrooms that are available with a massive cash discount of Rs. 1.75 lakhs. The cash discount of Rs. 1.3 lakhs discount is applicable on all the diesel variants and Mahindra is even offering an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000. The older XUV 500 was offered with a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that generated a maximum of 140 Bhp and 330 Nm. Mahindra is even offering Rs. 10,000 discount on the facelifted version of the XUV 500.

Honda CR-V

Discount up to Rs. 1 lakh

Honda recently launched the all-new CR-V in the Indian market. But there are many last generation models that are available with many dealers across the country. To clear the stock, dealers are offering up to Rs. 1 lakh discount on the last-generation of the CR-V. The last generation of the of the CR-V is powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that generates a maximum of 187 Bhp and 226 Nm. There is a 2.0-litre engine available with the 2WD option of the SUV too. It generates a maximum of 154 Bhp – 190 Nm.

Mahindra Scorpio

Discount up to Rs. 70,000

Mahindra Scorpio is known for its ruggedness and is one of the most popular  SUVs in the Indian market. Mahindra launched the new Scorpio sometime back with a more powerful engine with the top-end variant. The new Scorpio also gets a new grille to make it look fresher. People who are upgrading from their old Scorpio to new Scorpio by exchanging their vehicle will also get an extra Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus.

Hyundai Tucson

Discount up to Rs. 1.5 lakhs

The Hyundai Tucson is the most premium SUV sold by the manufacturer in India. Even though Hyundai Creta has an immense presence in the market, the Tucson just could not get the sales rolling in India. The premium SUV is available in both petrol and diesel variants in the market and there is an even 4WD version available with the diesel engine. Hyundai is offering a cash discount of Rs. 1.2 lakhs and Rs. 30,000 exchange bonus.

Honda BR-V

Discount up to Rs. 75,000

The Honda BR-V is the 7-seater compact SUV from the Japanese brand. It was launched to take on the likes of Hyundai Creta but the market did not respond well to it. The Honda BR-V gets Honda City inspired interiors and gets powered by both petrol and diesel engine options. The Japanese manufacturer is offering up to Rs. 75,000 discount on the vehicle to attract the customers.

Nissan Terrano

Discount up to Rs. 1.08 lakhs

The Terrano has been around for quite a while in the Indian market. It is the more premium version of the Renault Duster and is available with the same engine and transmission options. Even though the Terrano does not get the AWD system, it shares the same rugged characteristics. The Terrano is currently available at a discount of Rs. 1.08 lakhs. The Terrano comes with a 1.4-litre petrol engine that generates 104 Bhp and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that is available in two different states of tune – 85 Bhp and 110 bhp.

Renault Duster

Discount up to Rs. 1 lakh

The Duster became the first successful product of the French brand in India. However, over the time the increasing competition ensured the car did not remain as popular in the segment. Renault is expected to launch the all-new Duster in the Indian market but it has not been confirmed. For the current version, there is up to Rs. 1 lakh discount.

Mahindra TUV 300

Mahindra TUV 300 is a rugged sub-4-meter compact SUV that can seat up to 7 people. The TUV 300 faces stiff competition from the likes of Ford EcoSport, Maruti Brezza and the Tata Nexon. To ramp up the popularity of the TUV 300, Mahindra is offering up to Rs. 70,000 discount on the rugged SUV. The TUV is available with a 1.5-litre twin-scroll diesel engine that produces only 98 Bhp.

Tata Hexa

Discount up to Rs. 98,000

The Tata Hexa is the most expensive product of the brand. It takes on the likes of the Mahindra XUV 500 in the segment. It is powered only by a diesel engine and gets an automatic transmission too. Tata is currently offering a discount of Rs. 98,000 and it includes the 1st year free insurance and the exchange bonus.

Tata Nexon

Discount up to Rs. 20,000

Even though the Tata Nexon is a popular car in the segment, Tata is offering up to Rs. 20,000 discount including the exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000 and discounted first-year bonus. The Nexon takes on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Brezza in the segment and recently overtook the Ford EcoSport on the sales chart to be in the second spot.

Tata Safari Storme
