Tata Motors is one of India’s leading car manufacturer. They have a variety of products in their line up. One of the recent product launched by manufacturer in India is their micro SUV Punch. It turned out to be successful product for Tata and has received an overwhelming response. One of the reason behind its popularity is its build quality. Like any other Tata Product, Punch is also a safe car. In fact it had cleared Global NCAP crash test with highest scores and became the safest car in the country. Aftermarket accessories have already started to come in the market for Punch but, here we have a video where genuine accessories of Tata Punch are shown.
The video has been uploaded by CARoholic Varun on their YouTube channel. Video starts with vlogger showing the work that was being done on the Punch. The Tata Punch seen in the video belonged to his friend and they both initially thought of installing aftermarket accessories on the car. Both of them were not satisfied with the quality of aftermarket products and decided to get genuine accessories from Tata.

The Punch seen in the video is a lower variant and misses out on features like projector headlamps, dual tone alloy wheels and so on. Vlogger starts with accessories that were installed on the outside. A set of door visors were installed on the Punch. Other accessory installed were the mud flaps and chrome lower door beading.
Vlogger mentions that the accessories purchased from Tata Motors are genuine and come with a 2 year warranty. Moving in, the owner got metal scuff plates installed on doors and the fabric seats now get black leatherette seat covers with tri arrow patterns in it. The seats come with red piping which look good on the car. Apart from these genuine accessories, owner got aftermarket 7D mats for Punch. They went for aftermarket solution because Tata was only offering 3D mats at the dealership.
Vlogger mentions that he wanted the fit and finish of the seat cover at the front seats to be improved and there were wrinkles at places. Other than that, he was satisfied with the overall work done on the car. A set of rubber mats for dashboard and cupholders have also been installed in the car. The main reason why the owner came to Tata Motors for these accessories is because of the quality. In comparison to the aftermarket products they saw in the past, Tata was offering superior quality products. Overall cost of these genuine accessories were around Rs 15,000.
Tata Punch is based on the HBX concept that was showcased at 2020 Auto Expo. The production version of Punch is not much different from the concept showcased. Tata is currently offering a 1.2 litre, three cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 86 Ps and 113 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option. Tata might also bring a turbo petrol version of Punch in the market. Tata is likely to be working on a diesel version of Punch as a test mule was spotted testing recently.
