Tata has not announced the price of the Punch micro SUV but, it is likely to happen later this month. Tata Punch has already started arriving at the dealerships and bookings for this micro SUV has also started. Tata will be placing Punch below Nexon which was the entry level SUV from Tata before Punch. Here we have a video where Punch and Nexon compared to each other in terms of size and features it offers.
The video has been uploaded by Paramveer on his YouTube channel. The vlogger talks about the design, exteriors and interiors of both these SUVs in the video. He starts by showing the key fob. Both Punch and Tata Nexon come with similar looking key fobs. Actually, almost every Tata car has key fob of same design. Both Tata Nexon and Punch have an imposing stance.

Punch is not as long or wide as a Tata Nexon but, is at par with Nexon when it comes to the height. Both SUVs gets thick gloss black strip on the grille with Tata logo in the middle. A humanity line in chrome runs from one end of the front to the other. Nexon gets a dual function LED DRL in tri-arrow desin while Punch gets Harrier like LED DRL with halogen turn indicators next to it.
Position of headlamp is different on both SUVs but, both get projector units. The tri-arrow design on the lower bumper is another common feature on both SUVs. Coming to the side profile, both Punch and Nexon get 16 inch alloy wheels but, the unit on Nexon is slightly wider than the one on Punch. The door handles are also different in both the SUVs. Both get roof rails and at the rear, the Punch gets unique looking tail lamps with wrap around design. The Nexon on the other hand get a clear lens LED split tail lamp.
Nexon offers more boot space than Punch and it also has more space on the inside. Inside the cabin, Nexon gets a fully digital instrument cluster while Punch gets a semi-digital unit just like Altroz. The steering wheel is same on both the SUVs. The dashboard layout is different on both SUVs but, both gets similar looking touchscreen infotainment screen with connected car services on top-end trim.
Punch misses out on features like an armrest for the driver but, Nexon offers it. Both Nexon and Punch are available with manual and AMT gearbox option however, Nexon gets a 6-speed unit and Punch comes with a 5-speed unit. Tata Punch is available with a petrol engine only while Tata offers Nexon with both petrol and diesel engine options. The Punch is powered by a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 86 Ps and 113 Nm of torque. It comes with City and Eco drive mode and the AMT version also gets Traction pro Mode.
Tata Nexon is powered by a 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 120 Ps and 170 Nm of torque. The diesel version generates 110 Ps and 260 Nm of peak torque. Overall, vlogger mentions that he liked the fit and finish on the Nexon better.
