Tata Punch modified with genuine accessories, on video

Tata launched the micro SUV Punch in the market couple of months ago. Tata Punch is currently Tata’s entry level SUV and it has received god response from customers. Deliveries for the all-new Punch has already started and aftermarket accessories for the car has also started to arrive. Other than aftermarket accessories, Tata is also offering a range of genuine accessories with Punch. Here we have a video that shows a Tata Punch modified with genuine accessories.

The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger shows a range of accessories that are available for the Punch. The once seen here in the video is Accomplished trim. The car comes with decent number of features but, it still misses out on features like alloy wheels, spoiler, projector headlamps, LED DRLs and so on.

First accessory that is shown in the video are the alloy wheels. Vlogger mentions that the cost of one alloy wheel is around Rs 9,900. Other than the alloy wheels, Tata is also offering accessories like genuine door visors, roof mounted spoiler, front and rear silver faux skid plates, roof rails and many more. Vlogger also shows genuine seat covers available with Punch.

The car also gets accessories like LED DRLs, projector headlamps and so on. The cost of installing the roof mounted spoiler is around 5 thousand and the seat cover costs over Rs 7,000. There are several other accessories available with the car and we have featured the some of them on our website in the past. Tata Punch is currently the safest car in the country. It cleared the Global NCAP crash test with 5 Star rating. What makes Tata Punch competes with cars like Mahindra KUV100 and Maruti Ignis in the segment.

What sets Tata Punch apart from its competition is the looks. The micro SUV looks a lot more muscular due to its Tata Harrier inspired front look. The Punch has a tall boy design along with muscular looking front and rear which make it look like an SUV. Tata is offering Punch with a single engine option. There is a 1.2 litre, three cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. The engine generates 86 Ps and 113 Nm of peak torque.

The car is available with a 5-speed manual and AMT transmission option. The AMT version of the Punch comes with a Traction Pro mode which actually redirects power from one wheel to the other in case the any one of the front wheel of Punch gets stuck. Tata is offering features like City and Eco Drive Modes, Dual airbags, Idle Start Stop system, ABS as standard. Higher variants get touchscreen infotainment system from Harman.

According to reports, Suzuki is also developing a new mini-SUV. The upcoming mini or micro SUV will be based on Swift Sport. It is likely to be called Swift Cross. As of now, it is not clear whether the Swift Sport based mini-SUV will be offered in Indian market or not as we don’t get the Swift Sport here in India.
