Currently, cops have vehicles like Innova, Ertiga, Gypsy. Earlier, this year, it was reported that police will get smaller vehicles to improve emergency response time. Here, we have a render of Tata Punch as a police vehicle. Punch is a micro-SUV. It is much smaller than the current vehicles that the police are using. So, it would be useful to get into congested markets and narrow streets.
The render is finished in a gloss black colour with police livery and decals on the sides. Beacon lights are also placed on the roof of the Punch. There is a bull bar placed in the front on which we can see a small light bar is mounted for additional visibility. It is important to note that this is just an imagination of the artist, Tata Motors is not developing a Punch for the cops. As of now, they have only developed a special version of Safari for the army. It is called GS800.
