Tata will be launching the new Punch on 4th October. It is a new micro SUV based on the HBX Concept that we saw at the Auto Expo 2020. According to the rumours, the Punch could start from somewhere around Rs. 5 lakhs. Here, we have a leaked video of the Punch spotted in white colour.

The video is uploaded on YouTube by Her Garage. The video shows us the exterior as well as the interior. The video also reveals some of the features that were not yet announced. As we can see Punch in the video is finished in white colour. The video is shot at night so the lighting is not optimal. We also get a brief look at a blue Punch with white roof and wing mirrors.

The Punch gets a single tone white colour. It does look like a mini version of the Harrier from the front angle because Tata Motors have placed the LED Daytime Running Strip above and the main headlamp unit below. The turn indicator is also integrated with the Daytime Running Lamp strip.
The bonnet is flat, ground clearance is high and it gets boxy wheel arches along with a boxy design. All of this combined gives the Punch a very SUV like stance. Tata has chosen to give golden accents around the air conditioning vents. The rest of the cabin is finished in a white and black theme while the upholstery is black in colour. The cabin would feel a lot roomier if the seats were also white like we have seen in the Safari. However, that would be a bit difficult to maintain. Still, if you want, you can get after-market seat covers.
The cabin lamp is using a halogen bulb whereas the Tiago and Tigor use an LED setup. If you want, you can get an after-market LED bulb that can be fitted inside the cabin lamp. Having said that, Tata Motors is offering welcome lights, the top-end variant gets a height-adjustable driver seat, there is ample space in the front row and the driver feels like he is driving a SUV because of how high he is seated.
According to the video, the Punch offers more space than the Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet and Tata Nexon. There is a rear armrest, but it does not come with cupholders. The seats are also wide and are quite comfortable. The infotainment is the same unit as the Altroz and Nexon. However, Tata Motors has tuned it so it feels smoother.
In the blue Punch, the interior accents are of Blue colour. We can see them around the air conditioning vents and around the gear lever. The variants that we see in the video are equipped with 5-speed manual gearbox. Tata will also be offering a 5-speed AMT. The AMT gearbox will also get Traction Pro modes. Tata Motors will be using a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine for the Punch. This is the same engine that we have seen on the Altroz, Tiago and the Tigor. It produces 86 PS of max power and 113 Nm of peak torque.
