Tata Motors recently launched special edition versions of Nexon, Safari and Harrier in the market. Tata calls it the Jet edition and it comes with new features and slightly revised looks. With the Jet edition, Tata Motors is preparing for the upcoming festive season. Tata Motors has now released a new TVC which features all the three SUVs in Jet Edition. In this new TVC, they showcase features and differences in the all-three SUVs. The new Jet Edition is based on the XZ+ trim which means it comes with all the features that are available with regular Nexon, Harrier and Safari and more.

The video has been uploaded by Tata Motors on their official YouTube channel. The video shows what differentiates a Jet Edition SUV of Tata line up from the regular, Dark and Kaziranga Editions. The first SUV in the video is the Harrier. The main attraction of the Jet Edition Tata SUVs is the paint job. It comes with an Earthy Bronze and Platinum Silver dual-tone paint job. The alloy wheels are completely blacked out or finished in Jet Black shade. The video also shows Nexon, Nexon EV and Safari in it. Yes, even the Nexon EV is available in Jet edition.

Tata is offering updated features with its SUVs. Tata Harrier and Safari gets Driver Doze off alert, Panic Break Alert and After Impact Braking. These features are offered along with the existing 14 safety features. Tata is also offering USB Type C ports in all the rows and Tata Harrier gets disc brakes on all four wheels along with electronic parking brake. The touchscreen infotainment system on the SUVs remain the same but it now comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The interiors on these SUVs have also been updated. These SUVs now come with Oyster White and Granite Black interiors with #Jet embroidery on headrests. Tata Nexon Jet Edition gets auto-dimming IRVM, wireless phone charger, air purifier, connected car features and so on. In the Nexon EV the SUV gets Techno Steel finished Bronze dashboard and Jewel like gear selector knob which is not offered in the regular Nexon. The front seats are now ventilated and an electric parking brake with physical button to control regen is also added. These features were not available with the regular Tata Nexon EV.
Mechanically nothing has changed about these SUVs. The Nexon comes with a 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 120 Ps and 170 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version uses a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine that generates 110 Ps and 260 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are available with manual and AMT gearbox options. The Harrier and the Safari are both powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine. This engine generates a maximum of 170 Ps and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine is offered with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission option in both the Harrier and Safari. Price for Nexon Jet Edition version starts at Rs 12.13 lakh, ex-showroom. Price for Harrier Jet Edition starts at Rs 20.90 lakh, ex-showroom and for Safari Jet Edition, it starts at Rs 21.35 lakh, ex-showroom.
