Tata Motors recently launched the Gold Edition of the Safari. It gets cosmetic changes as well as added features. Some of those features will also make their way to the Adventure Edition of the Safari, which itself is a cosmetic upgrade over the regular variants. The Gold Edition is the new top-end variant of the Safari, whereas earlier it was the Adventure Edition.
The Safari Adventure Edition will get Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger and an air purifier. Tata Motors has not clearly revealed whether these features will make their way to other variants or not. The Gold Edition still gets a bit more equipment that includes features mentioned above and Oyster White Diamond Quilted leather upholstery that looks a lot more premium. It also gets first in segment ventilated seats for the first and second row.
Safari Adventure Edition
The Adventure Edition gets an exclusive paint scheme called Tropical Mist. According to Tata Motors, this colour is inspired by the rich and diverse flora present across the vibrant landscapes of our country. All the chrome on the exterior of the SUV has been blacked out. So, the headlamp surrounds, door handles, wing mirrors, tri-arrow front grille and Safari badging on the front as well as the rear is finished in black. Even the front skid plate is now finished in black. The design and the size of the alloy wheels stay the same, but now they are finished in Charcoal Grey colour. The interior also gets some changes. So, now the Ivory White upholstery has been replaced with Earthy Brown upholstery. There are also piano black finishes on the steering wheel, around the AC vents, centre console, grab handle surrounds and switches and knobs.
