Tata Motors launched the all-new Safari in the market earlier this year. The manufacturer had showcased this 7-seater SUV at the Auto Expo last year. Back then, it was known as Gravitas. Tata announced early in 2021 that, they will be naming the new SUV after the iconic Safari SUV that was available in the market. The all-new Safari has already started reaching dealerships and the deliveries have also started. Prices for Tata Safari starts at Rs. 14.69 lakh and go upto Rs 21.45 lakh. Tata is also offering a rugged looking version of all-new Safari that is known as Adventure Persona version. Here we have walkaround video that shows what all changes are there on this version in comparison to the regular version.
The video has been uploaded by Bunny Punia on his YouTube channel. The video starts by showing all the changes on the outside. In comparison to the regular version, Adventure Persona version has a much more rugged presence. The main reason for that look is the absence of chrome. In the regular version, there are chrome garnishes on the front grille, silver or grey colour on the front and rear bumper and so on. All those elements have been neatly blacked out in the Adventure version.
The grille gets a gloss black finish and there is Safari branding, both at the front and rear in gloss black finish. Moving to the side profile, you would notice the all-black alloy wheels which are of the same size and design as regular Safari. Other noticeable change here is the door handles. The chrome on the door handles have been replaced with a gloss black inserts. The chrome insert of the roof rail with Safari branding has also been blacked out. At the rear, the silver colour insert on the lower part of the bumper has been blacked out.
Tata Safari Adventure version is based on the top-end XZ+ variant and is available in a single shade of Tropical Mist. On the inside, Safari Adventure version all the features that are available in the top-end trim. The only difference here is that the seats now get brown colour leather which looks good and will be easy to maintain is comparison to the Oyster white interiors in the regular version.
Other than that, it is offered with touchscreen infotainment screen, semi-digital instrument cluster, electronic parking brake, multi-function steering wheel, premium audio system from JBL, panoramic sunroof and so on. Just like the regular Safari, buyers can choose between 6 and 7-seater options. Tata Other than this no other changes have been made to the SUV. In terms of pricing, the Adventure Edition is actually Ra 20,000 more dearer than the regular XZ+ or XZA+ trims.
XZ+ and XZA+ trim are priced at Rs 19.99 lakh and 21.25 lakh, ex-showroom whereas the Adventure Persona Edition costs Rs 20.20 lakh and Rs 21.45 lakh, ex-showroom for XZ+ and XZA+ variants respectively. Tata Safari Adventure Persona Edition is also powered by the same engine as Safari and Harrier. It gets the 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates 170 Ps and 350 Nm of peak torque. It is available with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
