One of the largest carmakers in the country Tata Motors, is all set to unveil the much-anticipated facelifts for its iconic models, the Tata Safari and Nexon. Car enthusiasts and brand loyalists are in for a treat, as recent sightings of these camouflaged SUVs on the highway provide an exciting glimpse into the enhancements awaiting these vehicles. And as the anticipations have reached a crescendo, fresh sightings of the Tata Safari Facelift and Nexon Facelift undergoing thorough testing on the highway have given enthusiasts a hint of what will be coming in the few months. Also despite the heavy camouflage, intriguing changes and upgrades are clearly discernible and have set the stage for an eagerly awaited revelation.
The Safari Facelift, through these spy shots, reveals a rejuvenated rear profile with redesigned bumpers and innovative connected LED taillights. While the side profile remains reminiscent of its predecessor, the presence of new alloy wheels signals a new aesthetic direction. The most captivating update is the heavily revamped front profile, a design transformation teased by earlier spy images, suggesting a harmonious blend of modernity and sophistication.

Meanwhile, the Nexon Facelift’s recent test mule offered a glimpse into its renewed appearance, featuring significant cosmetic updates. The rear profile sports redesigned elements and the front end bears distinctive changes, rekindling the SUV’s charismatic appeal.
Additionally, previous sneak peeks at the Safari Facelift’s cabin also hinted at a host of exciting changes. The interior of the forthcoming Safari is poised to embrace a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated seats, ensuring a luxurious driving experience. Safety, a paramount concern for Tata, will be addressed through six airbags, ESC, hill hold assist, and advanced driver assistance systems. It is believed that the upcoming Safari will also get a more advanced version of Tata’s ADAS.
For the Nexon Facelift, interior upgrades are anticipated to include the introduction of a 10.25-inch touchscreen system, wireless phone charging, and ventilated front seats to enhance comfort. It has also been reported that the new Nexon will feature an Avinya (Tata’s concept vehicle earlier showcased at the Auto Expo) styled steering wheel with a backlit display makes an appearance, elevating the Nexon’s interior aesthetic. In terms of the package of safety features the new Nexon facelift will also include six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and more.
With the Indian festive season on the horizon, Tata Motors is preparing to launch the Safari Facelift and Nexon Facelift, promising enhanced quality and features. The Safari Facelift will retain its existing 2.0-liter diesel engine while introducing a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. This petrol powerplant generates an impressive 170PS of power and 280Nm of torque, offering spirited performance on the road.
The Nexon Facelift, on the other hand, will likely incorporate a revised 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, delivering a substantial power output of 125PS and a peak torque of 225Nm. This updated engine will continue to be paired with the current 6-speed manual transmission, but the conventional 6-speed AMT is expected to make way for a new 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This enhancement is poised to elevate the Nexon’s driving dynamics to new heights, catering to the demands of modern urban living.
