Tata Motors is currently one of the popular car manufacturer in India. In the last couple of years, Tata has introduced several new models and has tried to establish itself among SUV buyers. They have products like Tata Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari in their SUV portfolio. In coming years, Tata will be coming up with more of SUVs and that is quite evident from the concepts that they showcased recently. Tata recently launched the Kaziranga edition of their SUVs in the market. Tata has now released a new TVC for the Tata Safari Kaziranga edition.
The video has been shared by Tata Motors on their YouTube channel. In this video a Tata Safari Kaziranga edition is seen moving through the National Park in Assam. We have seen another TVC in the past where all the SUVs that are available in Kaziranga Edition were featured in the TVC. This particular video is all about the Tata Safari. The video shows wildlife that is seen inside the national park. The Grassland beige exterior colour of the Safari is quite attractive blends well with the surrounding.

The chrome garnishes that are normally seen on the regular Tata Safari are not seen on the Kaziranga edition. It is inspired by India’s rich flora and fauna. All the chrome elements on the Safari SUV have been replaced with gloss black or piano back inserts. The overall design of the SUV remains the same. It gets the same design and features like dual-function LED DRLs, projector headlamps, fog lamps and so on. The tri-arrow elements on the front grille have been blacked out and the chrome garnish around the DRLs and headlamps also get similar treatment. The lower part of the bumper gets dark grey coloured skid plate. Coming to the side profile, there is black coloured Rhino mascot on the fender and the SUV rides on 18 inch alloy wheels. There are no chrome lower window garnish and roof rails which goes well with the overall theme of the car. The car continues to get LED tail lamps and black Safari branding on tailgate.
The Safari Kaziranga edition gets earthy brown and black dual tone theme. The design of the cabin remains the same. There are however wooden panel inserts on dashboard and door panels. The seats are wrapped in dual-tone leather upholstery. Tata offers Safari with features like wireless phone charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats. The rear seat also get ventilation function in the 6-seater version.
All the other features like a multi-function steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, electrically adjustable driver seat, auto-dimming IRVMs, semi-digital instrument cluster are the same as regular Safari. There is no change in the engine as well. The Safari is offered with a turbocharged diesel engine only. This is a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine that generates 170 Ps and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes with both manual and automatic transmission option. This is the same engine that is also doing duties in Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass and MG Hector.
