The new Tata Safari Storme comes with decent levels of equipment, it may not be as feature rich as the Mahindra XUV500 but it does have the essentials. Here we take a look at some of the features that make the Storme attractive.

Projector headlamps: The Storme gets suave looking projector headlamps which have a good throw and will light of the road quite well. The headlamps look range rover like and even the indicators have been incorporated snugly.

Reverse parking sensors: It also comes with rear parking sensors which make parking the car in tight spots a breeze. The sensors are placed on the bumper lip above the exhaust tip which also gets a chrome surround. Also read: Tata Safari Storme launched at Rs.9.95 lakh!

High mount stop light and roof rails: The stop light mounted right below the rear roof spoiler increases visibility of the Storme when braking, making it easier for those following to maneuver or brake. Interiors

4WD: The Storme gets a shift on the fly Borg Warner transfer case with three modes: 2WD, 4WD High and 4WD Low. The 4WD drive knob you see in the image above makes it simple and easy to use.

Instrument cluster: The Storme has an attractive instrument cluster which lights up like a Christmas tree displaying all the useful information you would need. It has silver accents around the speedo and rpm meter, which is a nice touch.

Spacious and comfortable cabin: Refreshed interiors of the Storme feel plusher than the older Safari. The cabin continues to be spacious and the ride too is more comfortable.

Dual airbags and IRVM integrated display: You also get dual airbags on the Storme to keep the passengers safe in case of an accident. There is an integrated display on the inside rear view mirror which work with the parking sensors to help the driver when parking the car.

Illuminated keyhole and storage space: The Safari has an illuminated key hole which makes it easier for the driver at night or when there is poor light. Apart from this there are plenty of storage spaces in the Storme like the on dash pop up storage bin seen above.

Music system and climate control: The Safari gets a single DIN music system which has average audio quality. You get climate control as well and the Ac is pretty effective.
