Tata Sumo And Mahindra Bolero Reimagined As Sporty SUVs Will Make You Go WOW [Video]

Mahindra Bolero vs Tata Sumo rendering

The Mahindra Bolero and Tata Sumo have been arch-nemeses for a long time. However, after the discontinuation of the Sumo, the Bolero now stands as the only ladder-on-frame SUV in its budget. Recently, a video rendering has been shared online which rekindles this age-old rivalry as it shows the modified versions of these two popular SUVs. Both of these SUVs have been reimagined with extremely bold body kits and other modifications, and now you have to decide which one you like more.

The video rendering of both — the Tata Sumo and Mahindra Bolero modified — has been shared on YouTube by Bimble Designs on their channel. It starts off with the front shot of the two modified renditions of the Mahindra Bolero and Tata Sumo. The Bolero on the right is seen finished in a stunning red color, meanwhile, the Tata Sumo is seen in a very dark shade of green which looks almost like a dark grey color. Both of these colors were not offered by the factory but they make these rendered models look a lot more sporty.

Design details of both SUVs

From the front, we can note that this particular Bolero has been given a brand-new front fascia. It gets futuristic-looking LED headlights with connected DRLs running from one end to the other with U curves inside the headlights. The front grille also looks very bold and modern with the new twin peaks logo. Additionally, the front bumper has also been fully changed and has been made a lot more aggressive than the real vehicle. Coming to the front-end design of the Tata Sumo, it can be noted that the main headlights have been kept the same.

However, the front grille has been changed along with the front bumper. The main highlight on both of these SUVs’ front ends is the addition of bonnet scoops that have been added. The Sumo, on the other hand, gets Brabus Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG-styled roof LED DRLs as well. The overall theme of the Sumo in this rendered video is based on the Brabus G-Wagen. It can be noted that the massive alloy wheels with low-profile tires are also inspired by the Brabus G-Wagen, and it also mimics the side-exit exhaust as well.

The rear also gets a roof spoiler similar to that seen on the Brabus G-Wagen. Coming to the rear-end design of the Mahindra Bolero, it has been given a spare wheel like the real car. For those who may not be aware, these alloy wheels look very similar to the alloy wheels offered by the German carmaker BMW with its M4 Competition sports car. This particular rendered Mahindra Bolero also comes equipped with connected LED taillights which add to the modern flair of this rendering. It can also be noted that the Bolero has also been given a Brabus Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG-styled widestar body kit which gives it the extended fender flares and additional design bits.
