Both cars use the 1.2 liter REVOTRON turbocharged petrol engine borrowed from the Tata Nexon, but in a different  state of tune. On both the Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP, this engine produces 114 PS of peak power at 5,000 rpm and 150 Nm of peak torque between 2,000 rpm and 4,000 rpm.

5 speed manual gearboxes with revised ratios to maximise the engine’s higher outputs are standard on both cars. Multi drive modes with city and sport options are also standard. Tata Motors claims a blazing 10 second 0-100 Kph  acceleration timing for both cars, which means that they’re seriously quick.
