Honor 10 launched

Huawei sub-brand Honor launched its latest flagship Android Honor 10 in London on May 16.

After the huge success of Honor 9, the company is looking at expanding its market for its next flagship phone, Honor 10, by launching it in many more countries than before.

With this offering, the company is targeting youths who are fond of capturing selfies with their smartphones. The phone comes with artificial intelligence support in the front snapper to drastically improve image quality.

The phone is available in two variants – 6 GB RAM coupled with 128 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM coupled with 64 GB internal storage. However, the company has only launched the former in India and the latter is available only in a few countries. The high-end model carries a price of Rs 32,999.

The sale of the phone will start from midnight on May 16 and it will only be available on Flipkart.

At present, the company is offering this phone in two colors in India – Midnight Black and Phantom Blue.

Honor 10 is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor with 6 GB RAM. The phone is also capable of dual-SIM support. The phone runs on EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The phone sports a 5.84-inch Full HD + display with a resolution of 1080 X 2280 pixels. The back of the phone comes with a dual camera setup with 24 MP primary sensor and 16 MP secondary sensor. The words ‘AI Camera’ are inscribed on the back of the phone to highlight its artificial intelligence capabilities.

The smartphone runs on a 3400 mAh battery with fast charge capabilities.

Coming to offers in India, Huawei has left no stone unturned to achieve maximum sales in the country. The phone costs Rs 32,999 as mentioned previously but comes with additional Rs 5,000 off over regular exchange value. With offers on EMI and debit cards, the phone is giving users the best discounts. In addition to all this, Reliance Jio is offering a cash-back of Rs 1,200; Rs 3,300 partner vouchers; and 100 GB additional data with the phone.

The phone will also be available on Honor’s own online store in the country with Rs 500 worth of cash-back coupons and offers from e-wallets as well.
