Smartphone brand OnePlus has announced the sale of general entry tickets for the OnePlus 6 launch event, from 8 May 2018.

After London where the OnePlus 6 smartphone would be launched first, the company is set to launch its flagship smartphone in India on 17 May 2018. The event will be held at Dome in NSCI, Mumbai, 3 PM IST.

Those attending the event on a general ticket will go home with a Marvel Avengers Cap, Marvel Avengers T-Shirt, OnePlus Notebook, OnePlus Tote Bag and a Cash Cannon. The tickets are priced at Rs 999 per person and the buyers will also get vouchers worth Rs 999.

The company also plans to launch a special Marvel Infinity Wars edition phone alongside the normal edition of OnePlus 6.

OnePlus has given avid fans an option to know more about the launch and phone through a ‘Notify Me’ button on the website. Fans will get a hands-on-experience of the phone during the event. The company has also planned ‘pre-sale’ pop-ups across eight Indian cities including Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. These pop-ups will take place on 21 and 22 May 2018.

The tickets for the OnePlus 6 launch event will only be available in physical form. This is a bit of a hassle for OnePlus fans, but also ensures security and safety.

To apply for the ticket, the users first need to go to the official website of OnePlus. There, they will have to enter their pin code and check whether they are eligible for the event. If yes, a payment option will pop up. Once the payment is made, the tickets will be dispatched to the addresses of the users through mail.

To recap the phone’s specs, the OnePlus 6 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with a whopping 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.

The OnePlus 6 smartphone sports a dual camera setup with dual sensors. The primary sensor is 12 MP and secondary 16 MP. The front camera will also come with a 16 MP sensor. The screen features a notch on top of the display. The company has also hinted about water resistance and dust resistance features of the phone along with gesture controls like IPhone X.
