This Bollywood actor has not one, not two but three Porsche sportscars

Famous television actor Ram Kapoor, known for his role in the TV soap “Bade Acche Lagte Hain” and various Bollywood movies, is a major car fanatic. Among his collection of exotic cars, Porsche seems to be his favorite. Recently, Kapoor added his third Porsche to his collection, the 992 Turbo S, which is more commonly known as the 911 Turbo S and comes with a price tag of Rs 3.6 crore.

Kapoor was spotted driving his new car on the roads of Mumbai. Opting for a white shade, he chose the top-of-the-line variant, the Porsche 992 Turbo S, which boasts majestic 10-spoke alloy wheels with yellow brake calipers.

As Kapoor approached an empty road after a red traffic signal, he accelerated the 992 Turbo S, and the exhaust roared all the way through.

Porsche 911 Turbo S (992)

Presenting the epitome of Porsche’s engineering prowess, the Turbo S variant of the 911 stands as the most advanced model available. With a staggering 560 PS of maximum power, this sports car reigns supreme, equipped with all the optional performance extras, including the coveted Sport Chrono pack. Adding to the excitement is the over-boost function, granting a 20-second burst of adrenaline by raising peak pressure from 17.4 psi to an impressive 19.6 psi, resulting in a massive 750 Nm of torque during this exhilarating period, up from 700 Nm. The 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission with automatic start/stop feature complements the Turbo S’s performance.

Official figures unveil its awe-inspiring capabilities, as it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, while its top speed remains restricted to 318 km/h. Riding on 20-inch wheels with hub wheel locks, Porsche enhances the vehicle’s agility during high-speed runs through its four-wheel steering system, which also reduces the turning radius at slower speeds.

The Turbo S’s distinctive features include full LED headlamps with four-point daytime running lamps and a camera-based main beam control system, ensuring impeccable road illumination. At higher speeds, the car optimizes downforce with a three-stage rear spoiler that adjusts its position according to the car’s speed, further enhancing its performance.

Ram Kapoor owns two other Porsches

In 2021, Ram Kapoor bought the Porsche 911 Carrera S worth Rs 2 crore. Under the hood, the Porsche Carrera S houses a potent 3.0-litre flat-six boxer petrol engine, which boasts twin-turbocharging to deliver an impressive power output of 450 PS and a peak torque of 530 Nm. Revving up to a redline of 7,500 rpm, this powerhouse propels the Carrera S to an exhilarating top speed of 308 kmph. Coupled with the car’s performance, an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox drives the rear wheels, utilizing Porsche’s renowned PDK technology, renowned for its lightning-fast shifts. Moreover, for an interactive driving experience, paddle shifters are thoughtfully mounted behind the steering wheel, granting the driver control over gear changes.

Back in 2013, the actor was spotted with a Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet or simply known as 911 Convertible. He owned the car for many years but we are not sure if he still owns this particular model.

Other cars in Ram Kapoor’s garage

Ram Kapoor also owns a Ferrari Portofino M worth Rs 4.5 crore. The Portofino M surpasses the standard variant in power and performance. Beneath its hood lies a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine, capable of generating a remarkable 620 PS of maximum power, an increase of 20 PS compared to the regular version. This impressive powerplant is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission for seamless gear changes.

Kapoor also bought the latest-generation Land Rover Range Rover and was spotted with his wife in the car.

He also owns the 2016 BMW X5. It is his daily ride and uses the SUV quite often to reach his shoot locations and events.

The actor also owns a Mercedes-AMG G63 SUV. He bought the car back in 2020 and he still owns it.
