Maruti Suzuki recently launched the all-new Alto K10 in the market. The new generation Alto K10 came back in the market after a gap of almost 2 years and the price for the same starts at Rs 3.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The car has started reaching dealerships and the delivery for the same has also started. Maruti is offering the Alto K10 Standard variant at Rs 3.99 lakh. This is placed even below the LXi variant of K10. What all does the base variant of Maruti K10 actually offer? Here we have a video that shows just that.
The video has been uploaded by sansCARi sumit on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger shows what is Maruti Suzuki offering with the base model of Alto K10. Starting with the front, the standard variant comes with black bumper. In the higher models, it is body coloured. Vlogger mentions that it has been aimed for the taxi drivers to be used in the fleet. The headlamp is still halogen and it comes with a turn indicator integrated into it. The Suzuki loog is placed on the bumper of the car. The grille and the bumper are all finished in the same colour.

Coming to the side profile the car gets 13 inch steel rims. The tyre size remains the same even in the higher models. The only difference is that Maruti offers a wheel cover in the higher models. The turn indicator is still mounted on the fender and the ORVM is also not body coloured. It is manually folding unit and it cannot be adjusted. The door handles are also not body coloured and at the rear, the car comes with the same tail light unit. There is a Suzuki logo and Alto K10 badge on the tail gate. The rear bumper on this variant is also finished in black.
The boot space remains the same but, there is no parcel tray and there are exposed metal parts too. Interior is where Maruti has done a lot to keep the cost in check. As we open the door, there is a manual lever to roll down and up the windows. As expected it does not offer power windows. Even in the VXi+ variant, Maruti does not offer power windows for rear passengers. The steering wheel is very basic and so is the instrument cluster. Maruti does not offer power steering for the Standard varaint. The car also misses out on features like an infotainment system of any type. The instrument cluster does not show fuel economy and there is no AC in the car. There are air vents and knobs to control the AC and air flow but, there is no button switch on or off the AC. The fabric seat covers come with integrated headrests for the front and there are no headrests for any of the rear passengers. The car also does not offer any type of USB or 12V port. There are however provisions to install speakers on doors and infotainment system.
