Maruti Baleno is extremely popular in the Indian car market and is one of the best-selling hatchbacks in the country. There are many modified examples of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno hatchback in India. Here is another radical looking one.
The red hatchback gets a fresh look with subtle changes. The hatchback gets a new blacked out gloss grille that enhances the vehicle’s looks instantly. Also, the golden aftermarket wheels look extremely good on the vehicle. The upsized wheels get fatter tyres that are wider than the body. Even the lower air-dam of the Baleno has been repainted in gloss black to match the grille, and it gives the hatchback a much more premium look.
At the rear, the tail lamps have been changed to all-LED clear lens ones. Nothing else has been changed in the vehicle but a few select modifications can make the vehicle look really different. The final look of the vehicle is very different from that of the stock.
The engine seems to be in the stock form. The Maruti Baleno is offered with two engine options, while there is also a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit available with the RS version of the vehicle. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine of the Baleno produces a maximum of 83 Bhp and 115 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic transmission. The other 1.3-litre DDiS turbocharged diesel engine produces a maximum power of 74 Bhp and 190 Nm of peak torque. It is only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Baleno RS comes with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged unit that churns out a maximum power of 101 Bhp and 150 Nm. It only gets a 5-speed manual transmission.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno is sold through the Nexa dealership network of the brand. Officially, Maruti also offers a lot of customisation options with the Baleno hatchback. In fact, Maruti offers customisation options with various cars like Swift, Ignis and Brezza. These jobs purely cosmetic and are done with removable vinyl.
