The Maruti Suzuki Swift is the most successful hatchback of the country in recent times. It has won the prestigious Indian Car of the Year Award several times ever since its inception in 2005 and is also one of the best-selling cars for Maruti. Enough has already been said about this chic hatchback and therefore let’s move to the mod Swift which is featured in the video below. While there are countless examples of gorgeous Swift mods present across the country, the latest generation model does not have many good examples as of yet. Therefore, let’s check out the car below and then get to know about all the changes and mods added on it.

The modifications made on this Swift consist of vinyl, wraps and body kit add-ons. The engine, however, remains untouched and so do the other mechanical bits. Apart from the exteriors, the interiors of the car have been jacked up too in accordance with the overall mod theme of the car. Done in shiny red and black shade, there is absolutely no doubt in the fact that it is quite a looker. Let’s now know about the various mods done on the car in detail.

The front gets a new lip spoiler that gives the Swift a ground-hugging, low rider look. The grille gets red paint on two ribs that adds sportiness to the front end. Then there is the black vinyl on the bonnet which further enhances the sporty look of the car. The nose of the car also gets ‘SWIFT’ embossed on it in black. The roof has been done covered with a glossy black shade and gets number ’10’ mark on it. The pillars have been blackened out too which enhance the glossy black roof and add a floating effect to it. The sides feature black rub strips along with side skirts which again gives it the low rider look.

The rear gets busy with a lot of enhancements done on it. First is the sporty roof spoiler, followed by the rear splitter, The number plate housing at the rear has been blackened out and the splitter makes things look very sporty. The Suzuki logo has been blacked out and gets topped by ‘SUZUKI’ written in black. The tail light covers also are in black shades, matching the overall look of the car. Lastly, those gorgeous alloy wheels complete the package and gets red highlights on several spokes. The interiors have been retouched with the red-black theme been followed inside too.

The latest generation Swift comes with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol is a 1.2 litre unit that churns out 82 Bhp of power along with 113 Nm of torque. The diesel, on the other hand, is a 1.3 litre unit that puts out a good 74 Bhp of power along with 190 Nm of torque. Both the engines come mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT transmission. With these visual enhancements made on the car, it will be a definite head turner on the roads.
