Toyota Fortuner and Legender SUV: New TVC out

Japanese carmaker, Toyota launched the facelifted version of Fortuner in the market recently. Toyota had already launched this facelifted version in international markets last year. Along with regular Fortuner, Toyota has also launched a much more premium Legender version in the market as well. Prices for the all new Fortuner start at Rs 29.98 lakh, ex-showroom and go up to Rs 37.58 lakh, ex-showroom. It is a premium 7-seater SUV that competes with Ford Endeavour and recently launched MG Gloster in the segment. Toyota has now released official TVC for the updated Fortuner and newly introduced Legender version.

The video has been uploaded by Toyota India on their official Youtube channel. The video basically shows how different both SUVs are from one another in terms of looks and the features it offers. Toyota has made changes to Fortuner SUV to give it a fresh look. It now gets a sleeker looking projector LED headlamps setup with integrated LED DRL. The front grille gets a different pattern and the bumper has been redesigned. Fortuner now gets a much more muscular looking bumper with blacked honey comb garnish around the LED fog lamps. Fortuner also comes with silver colour skid plate that adds to the SUVish stance of the vehicle.

The video shows Fortuner being driven through rough roads and off-road sections while the Legender was driven inside the city. The main reason behind that is because, Legender is actually based on the diesel 4×2 automatic Fortuner. It is not available with a 4×4 option like Fortuner. The Legender looks a lot more premium than regular Fortuner. It gets split front grille with gloss black inserts. Most of the chrome elements on the Fortuner have been blacked out, when it became Legender.
