Toyota Fortuner SUV modified with a Lexus Kit looks stunning

Toyota Fortuner is one of the most popular SUV sold in its segment. It has been in the market for quite some time and we have seen how the Fortuner has changed or improved over the years. Recently, Toyota launched the updated 2021 version the Fortuner in the market and it looks a lot more premium than before. There are several modification options available for the pre-facelift models and we have seen many of them in the past. One of the most common type of modification seen on Fortuner is installation of Lexus kit. Here we have a video that shows a Fortuner (pre-facelift model) with Lexus body kit and many other modifications.

The video has been uploaded by CAR CUPID on their YouTube channel. The video shows all the modifications that are done to the Fortuner. He starts with the front. The front bumper has been completely removed and replaced with a Lexus Kit. The small grille at the front has been replaced with the huge Lexus grille with gloss black finish. There is chrome garnish running around the grille.

This new grille has totally helped in enhancing the look of the SUV. Coming down, there are two small LED lights on the lower part of the bumper. The bumper gets boomerang shaped LED DRLs. These are dual function units. The stock headlight on Fortuner is a single projector unit. That has been replaced with an all-LED unit with matrix styled dual function LED DRLs integrated in it. This is actually a unique addition to Fortuner and we have probably not seen this type of lights in any other Fortuner.

The bonnet gets chrome finished Fortuner branding and along with a hood scoop finished in dual tone. The front with all these addition looks massive. Coming to the side profile, side skirts have been installed in the SUV. The Skirting is neatly installed with the foot board and looks like a part of the body. There is a chrome finished air vent garnish on the side fender as well. Moving to the rear, they have installed a bumper kit which gives Fortuner a muscular look from the rear. The tail lights are the same as stock but, they now have installed a set of pillar lights.

Other than this, no major modifications were done to the Fortuner. Talking about the Fortuner,, we currently have the updated Fortuner and a much more premium looking Legender version in the Indian market. The Legender is a much more plush looking than the regular Fortuner and offers couple of more features. It is available with a diesel engine with automatic transmission. 4WD is not available in this version. Toyota Fortuner is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. Both petrol and diesel engine options are available with manual and automatic options but, 4WD is available with diesel engines only. The diesel version is powered by a 2.8 litre engine that generates 204 Ps and 500 Nm of peak torque. The 2.7 litre petrol engine generates 165 Ps and 245 Nm of torque.
