There is no denying the fact that Toyota Innova Crysta is India’s most popular MPV. So popular that even having that even after having such a high price tag people prefer crystal over the alternatives and is the best selling model for the brand. Now Toyota has added another trim to its variant list. Toyota has added G Plus Trim which will be the new base variant for Innova Crysta.
Toyota has launched the G Plus trim with a price tag of 15.57 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. It is the second revision made to the MPV after the feature update last year. The new base variant G Plus trim comes with manual air condition, halogen headlamps, fabric upholstery and so on.
Talking of the safety features, G Plus trim will get dual airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors and seat belt reminders as standard. The new base variant G Plus is Rs 38000 cheaper than the previous entry-level model GX model.
G Plus trim is available in two configurations. The 7-seater variant is priced at Rs 15.57 lakh, and the 8-seater option will cost around Rs 15.62 lakh – all the prices are ex-showroom. The new added G plus trim is powered by a 2.4L, four-cylinder, diesel engine that produces 150 PS of power and 343 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
With the introduction of G Plus trim, Innova Crysta is now available in five trims namely G Plus, GX, VX, ZX and Touring Sport. Innova Crysta offers with a variety of engine options. It comes with a 2.4L diesel engine that is available with the base variants. It also has a 2.8L diesel engine that produces 174 PS and 360 Nm of peak torque.
The Innova is also offered with a petrol engine. It gets a 2.7L naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 166 PS of power and 245 Nm of torque. Both petrol and diesel variants come with manual and automatic transmission.
The main reason for the popularity of Innova Crysta is the level of comfort it offers. Even cab drivers love this MPV because of its reliability and low maintenance cost.
