Toyota is offering the Innova Crysta Facelift in three variants namely GX, VX and ZX. Choosing a variant can be confusing so we help you in choosing the right one.

On Budget
Toyota Innova Crysta GX

The “GX” is the base variant of the Innova Crysta. It can be equipped with as a 7-seater or an 8-seater and is available with both petrol and a diesel engine. It gets quite a bit of equipment for being a base variant. It gets air conditioning for front and rear, a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, alloy wheels, welcome lights, dot type multi-information display, 2 power outlets and tilt and telescopic adjustment for the steering. For the safety equipment, Toyota is offering rear parking sensors, 3 airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Stability Control and Hill-start assist.

Budget automatic

Toyota is also offering the GX variant with an automatic transmission. It is equipped with a 6-speed automatic gearbox with Sequential Shift. So, if you are on a budget and want the convenience of an automatic transmission then you can opt for this variant. You get the same features as the GX variant. However, because of the automatic transmission, you also get cruise control which is beneficial.

Mile Munchers
Toyota Innova Crysta 2.4 G

Toyota has continued to offer the 2.4-litre diesel engine in its BS6 form. The diesel engine is much frugal when compared to the 2.7-litre petrol engine. Toyota offers cruise control on all the variants except the base variant with a manual transmission. This feature comes in a lot handy when you have to travel a lot of distance on the highways. The engine has enough grunt on offer to overtake on highways even when you are already doing triple-digit speeds. So, if you will be travelling a lot on highways you should opt for the diesel engine.

Best value for money
Toyota Innova Crysta VX

If you want the most value for money variant then you should opt for the VX variant. This variant will get you all the bells and whistles that you will require on day to day basis so you will not miss out on a lot and also save a bit of money by not opting for the top-end variant. Toyota offers automatic climate control with a cool start, automatic LED projector headlamps, TFT Multi-information display, voice recognition, leather-wrapped steering wheel with a wood insert, premium black fabric, fast charging support for USB ports, smart entry system, push-button to start/stop, seat back table and front and rear parking sensors. The downside of this variant is you cannot opt for the automatic transmission.
