Toyota Innova Crysta modified with Lexus body kit looks premium

Toyota Innova and Innova Crysta is a very popular MPV as a private vehicle as well as in the commercial segment. It is popular among buyers for its reliability and comfortable ride. There are still first generation Innova in India that have completed lakhs of kilometers on odometer and are still working without any problem. One of the common type of modification that is currently seen with older Innova MPVs is converting them to a premium looking MPV using aftermarket body kits. Here we have one such Innova Crysta that has been customised with a Lexus body kit to give it a premium look.

The video has been uploaded by Autorounders on their YouTube channel. The video starts with vlogger showing how the Innova Crysta looked when it had arrived at the garage. The Innova Crysta had the stock white shade but, owner wanted a shade of silver or grey on the car.

As part of the customisation, Autorounders removed the stock front grille and bumper completely. They were then replaced with a custom made Lexus body kit. The kit is a single piece unit that comes with grille and the bumper. A chrome outline around the whole grille is also a part of the kit. The bumper gives Innova Crysta a premium and aggressive look at the front. The grille has ben finished in gloss black with Toyota logo in the middle.

The bumper now gets a boomerang shaped LED DRL which also function as turn indicators. The lower part of the bumper also gets a chrome garnish on it. The whole car has been repainted in a Grey shade which looks elegant on the car. The headlamp on this Innova Crysta are stock but, it now comes with an aftermarket LED DRL in it.

The whole car was repainted and the Crysta also comes with a Creta styled aftermarket alloy wheels in it. At the rear, a skirting has been installed with gives the rear bumper a sporty look. An LED light is also installed here. The stock tail lamps on the Innova Crysta were replaced for aftermarket LED units. an LED light connecting the tail lamp is also installed here.

Other than the customisations on the outside, interior of this Innova Crysta received some changes as well. It got features like illuminated scuff plates, ambient lighting and the door pades were wrapped in leather to match the colour of the interior. The Crysta also got 7D floor mats installed in it. overall, the work done on this Innova Crysta looked very neat. A simple addition like a Lexus body kit did make a huge difference to the overall look of the car.

Innova Crysta is a popular MPV in the country and is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version of the MPV is powered by a 2.7 litre engine whereas the diesel version uses a 2.4 litre engine is BS6 avatar. Both petrol and diesel engine options are available with manual and automatic transmission options.
