The Toyota Innova Hycross has upheld the quality, durability, and reliability associated with both the Toyota badge and Innova nameplate, making it one of the preferred choices in the premium three-row vehicle category. The demand for the Innova Hycross has been so immense that Toyota had to halt new bookings due to its 24-month waiting period. While the MPV boasts a decently luxurious cabin with high-quality components and features, one owner from Gujarat decided to take customization a step further by upgrading his Innova Hycross with luxurious Italian leather upholstery.
A video from the YouTube channel Autorounders showcases how a Toyota Innova Hycross owner from Gujarat transformed the interior of his MPV with premium upholstery. The particular Innova Hycross in question is a lower-spec variant that originally came with all-black fabric upholstery, complemented by aftermarket black-themed fabric seat covers. The Mumbai-based customization workshop, “Autorounders,” undertook the task of revamping the interior, resulting in a more opulent cabin.

For this customized Toyota Innova Hycross, the customizers replaced the aftermarket seat covers with new, premium cream-and-beige seat covers, which they claim to be genuine Italian leather upholstery. The same elegant finish was applied to the roof liner, which was previously grey. Additionally, the customizers replaced the hard plastic panels on the dashboard and door pads with cream-and-beige soft-touch leather upholstery. This enhancement further elevates the cabin’s ambiance, creating a more airy and upscale feel.
No plastic touch points in the car now
To add a touch of luxury and sophistication to the cabin’s appearance, the customizers from “Autorounders” substituted some of the plastic components with faux carbon fiber inserts. These changes extended to components like the steering wheel and surrounds for the power window switches on the door panels. The combination of cream-and-beige leather upholstery in this lower-spec Innova Hycross imparts a rich and premium feel, similar to the leather upholstery offered as standard in the higher-spec variants of the Innova Hycross.
Toyota offers the Innova Hycross with two powertrain options: a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated 172 bhp petrol engine and a 2.0-liter petrol-electric 184 bhp strong-hybrid powertrain. The higher-spec, fully-loaded variants are exclusively available with the strong-hybrid version of the Innova Hycross. In addition to the leather upholstery, these variants also come equipped with features such as a panoramic sunroof, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat with memory function, a premium JBL audio system, a powered tailgate, powered leg rests in the second-row seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
