Toyota Innova Hycross modified by DC2 gets a luxurious lounge, glass flooring

The Toyota Innova Hycross has long been favored by discerning customers seeking a premium chauffeur-driven experience. Renowned for its comfort and reliability, the Innova Hycross has been a top choice in the MPV segment. However, rear-seat enthusiasts of this MPV now have something even more extraordinary to feast their eyes upon – the modified version by DC2 (formerly known as DC Designs). The DC2 Innova Hycross boasts a jaw-dropping interior that takes luxury to unparalleled heights. DC2 has added an entire lounge to the rear of the already comfortable Innova Hycross and has also installed glass flooring along with other luxury goodies in this MPV.

Once the rear doors are opened, the most striking change in the DC2 Innova Hycross is the transformation of the standard MPV’s interior into a lavish lounge. DC2 has removed the 2nd and 3rd-row seats, freeing up space to accommodate two wide custom VIP recliner seats. These VIP seats are fitted with neck supports, calf supports, and individual armrests for enhanced comfort during journeys. Additionally, electrical adjustment controls on the armrests allow occupants to find their perfect seating position with ease.

DC2 has not overlooked the importance of ambiance in creating a truly luxurious experience. The 3rd-row side panels have been equipped with controls for various lighting elements inside the cabin. This feature allows passengers to adjust lighting according to their preferences, setting the perfect mood for any occasion. Moreover, a giant skylight effect has been added, providing diffused lighting that exudes sophistication.

Keeping in mind the demands of modern travelers, DC2 has gone all-out in the entertainment department. A massive 43” foldable Android Smart TV now graces the interior, offering rear passengers unparalleled entertainment options. Whether it’s catching up on the latest shows or enjoying movies on the go, this in-car entertainment system rivals those found in high-end luxury sedans. When not in use, the TV can be discreetly stowed away in the ceiling, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail by DC2.

As for the Toyota Innova Hycross’ engine options, it comes exclusively with a petrol engine and is available with CVT and e-CVT gearboxes as standard for the petrol and strong hybrid versions, respectively. The strong hybrid version of the Innova Hycross is equipped with a 2.0-liter petrol engine paired with an electric motor, resulting in a combined power output of 183 Ps. This strong hybrid version boasts a claimed fuel economy of 23.24 kmpl, which is the highest in its segment. On the other hand, the regular petrol version also utilizes a 2.0-liter petrol engine generating 171 Ps, with a claimed economy of 16.13 kmpl.
