Toyota Innova HyCross officially launched: Prices start at Rs 18.30 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced the much-awaited prices of its new Innova HyCross MPV in India. The price for the all-new Toyota Innova Hycross MPV starts at Rs 18.30 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 28.97 lakh, ex-showroom. The Japanese car manufacturer unveiled the new HyCross MPV in November and bookings for the same had also commenced after that. Toyota Innova HyCross is being offered as a premium MPV and placed slightly over the older Crysta. The price for Innova Crysta starts at Rs 18.09 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 23.83 lakh, ex-showroom. The base variant of Innova Crysta is Rs 21,000 less expensive than the new HyCross while in the top-end variant, the difference is over Rs 5 lakh.

Toyota Innova Hycross is available in Super White, Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Avant Grade Bronze Metallic and an exciting new color Blackish Ageha Glass Flake. Interiors of the Hycross are available in Black and with two new colors Chestnut & Black and Dark Chestnut. Toyota Innova as mentioned before, the HyCross is based on Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA). It is a monocoque MPV while the Innova Crysta was a ladder-on-frame MPV. The Innova HyCross is a lot more premium in terms of looks and features when compared to Innova Crysta.

Toyota is offering the Innova HyCross petrol in G (7seater), G (8 Seater), GX (7S), GX (8S) variants. The self-charging hybrid or the strong hybrid version of the HyCross is available in VX (7S), VX(8S), ZX and ZX(O) variants. The G is the lowest variant and the ZX(O) is the top-end variant. Toyota Innova HyCross as we all know is only available with a petrol engine and comes with CVT and e-CVT gearbox as standard for petrol and strong hybrid version respectively. Toyota has already announced that they will be selling the diesel Innova Crysta alongside the new HyCross.

The strong hybrid version of Innova Hycross is available with a 2.0 litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor. This set up generates a combined power output of Rs 183 Ps. The strong hybrid version has a claimed fuel economy of 23.24 kmpl which is highest in its segment. The regular petrol version also uses a 2.0 litre petrol engine that generates 171 Ps and it has a claimed economy of Rs 16.13 kmpl. Toyota is offering a warranty of 3 years/100,000 kilometers and an option of extended warranty of up to 5 years/220,000 kilometers, 3 years free roadside assistance, attractive financial schemes and 8 yrs/160,000 kilometers warranty on the Hybrid battery.
