Toyota Innovas are very popular among buyers. It is known for being reliable, offer a comfortable ride and low cost of maintenance. Even today, there are several type 1 Toyota Innovas that are being used without any mechanical problems. We have seen several types of modified Toyota Innova on our website. One of the most common trend these days is to convert the Innova or modify it into a premium looking MPV. For this, both exterior and interior on this MPV are modified. Here we have a video that shows a old Toyota Innova that has been neatly modified with a custom made Lexus body kit.
The video has been uploaded by Autorounders on their YouTube channel. The video starts with vlogger explaining all the modifications or changes that are made to the car. One of the first thing that a person would notice about the Innova is its paint job. It looks similar to the Nardo Grey that is usually seen on Audi performance cars. The vlogger mentions that the whole car was painted in the paint booth. The video does not show how the car looked when it had arrived at the workshop. Painting the car in paint booth gives it an even and factory finish which is otherwise missing. It also protects the surface from dust and other foreign particles from sticking to it.

At the front, the main highlight of this Toyota Innova are the grille. The stock unit on the Innova has been replaced with a custom made front grille. This is a single unit which is made inhouse by Autorounders. The large gloss black Lexus grille on the car looks good. The new grille has completely changed the overall look of the car. It gives the Innova a much more premium and imposing look. The original headlamps of the Innova have also been replaced. The MPV now gets aftermarket projector LED headlamps with integrated dual-function LED DRLs. The bumper has also been replaced as part of the modification.
There is a gloss black lip on the lower part of the bumper. The fog lamps are integrated to the custom bumper. There are side skirts installed on the car which is a part of the Lexus kit installed on the car. As we move to the rear, the original rear bumper of the car has been replaced as well. The rear now gets a Lexus kit bumper which looks muscular. The tail lights on this Innova has been upgraded to the one found in Type 4. Other than this, no major changes are visible on the outside.
Interior of this Innova was also upgraded. The car gets beige coloured leather seats and the door pads are wrapped in Black leatherette upholstery. The dashboard is finished in dual tone and an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system has also been installed on the car. The plastic panels are all repainted. Overall, the work done on the interior looks elegant and the modification done to the exterior gives it an aggressive yet premium look.
