The Toyota Innova, as we all know, is the most popular MPV in India and the preferred ride of numerous politicians, bureaucrats, businessmen, and famous people in the country. Since its launch in 2005, the MPV has gained tremendous popularity and, despite being on the market for many years, some of the first-generation models are still running strongly on the roads. For this reason, many people are now restoring and converting their old Type 1 models into Type 4 and other intermediate models. Recently, a video showcasing the transformation of another Toyota Innova Type 1 into a Type 4 was shared on YouTube.

The video, featuring the conversion of this Toyota Innova Type 1 into a Type 4, has been shared on YouTube by Autorounders. In the video, the owner of Autorounders, a shop known for such conversions on Innovas and Fortuners, mentions that they will be converting this particular model into a Type 4. He further adds that they will also repaint the car in Innova Crysta’s Garnet Red color and give it a black and tan leather interior.

After the introduction, the expert technicians at the shop can be seen dismantling the car and starting the work of fixing dents and dings across the body. Following this, they apply putty on the car and sand it until it becomes smooth for the primer application. After the priming process, the car enters the paint booth, where a painter hand-paints it in Innova Crysta’s Garnet Red color. Once the car comes out of the paint booth, the video shows the upholsterer working on the custom black and tan leather seat cover with white stitching. Finally, the finished car is shown being delivered to the customer.
