Toyota Innova’s have a huge fan following in India. It is a popular MPV that is widely popular for personal and commercial use. Innova was introduced in India as a replacement to Qualis which was another popular MPV from the brand. It is popular among buyers for various reason like comfort reliability and low cost of maintenance. Toyota Innova is also a good project car for several interior and exterior modifications and we have seen many good looking examples of modified Innova from around the world. Here we have a video that shows how a Type 2 Innova was beautifully transformed into a Type 4 MPV.
The video has been uploaded by Autorounders on their youtube channel. The video starts by showing the condition of Innova when it arrived at the garage. According to the video, this a 2011 model Toyota Innova Type 2 that has come to Autorounders for a complete transformation. The Type 2 Innova is modified neatly to look like a type 4 model. In order to do that Autorounders will be replacing 18-20 parts on the Type 2 Innova along with a complete body repaint.

The Finished product looks great. By looking at it, no one would ever be able to find out that it is a Type 2 Innova. The smaller grille in the older version was replaced with a deeper unit with chrome surrounds. The bumper has been replaced too and it looks a lot more muscular than before. The headlamp is an aftermarket unit with projector lamps in it. There is an LED DRL integrated inside the headlamp cluster too. It also gets an LED fog lamp too.
Coming to the side profile, the alloy wheels are the same that were seen on the Innova before conversion. The whole MPV has been repainted in paint booth and that has given the car a very elegant look. The finish of the paint is such that it looks like it had just rolled out of the factory floor. Just like at the front, the rear also gets aftermarket tail light which is full LED . There is a chrome strip running on the boot which is not seen in Type 2 Innova.
Interior of this Innova was not redone and it is the same as before. The conversion looks very neat and it definitely looks like a brand new vehicle from outside. Toyota Innova is not available in the market it was replaced with a much more premium version of the MPV known as Innova Crysta.
