Keeping up with the latest trend of dual-tone cars in the market, Toyota has launched the Etios Liva in dual tone design. The new variants also get updated safety features and new equipment. The new Etios dual tone is priced from Rs. 5.94 lakh and goes up to Rs. 6.44 lakh for petrol variants while the diesel variants start from Rs. 7.24 lakh and goes up to Rs. 7.61 lakh. The new variants get contrasting coloured roof and pillars, a redesigned roof spoiler, new front grille with a black finish, chrome fog lamp bezels, electrically foldable ORVMs and diamond cut alloy wheels. With the new elements, the hatchback looks fresh and ready to take on the rivals.
On the inside, the new Liva gets a piano black finish on the instrument panel, rear movable headrests and safety net in the form of dual front airbags, ABS and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) as standard across all the variants. The vehicle also gets new ISOFIX child seat hooks for all the variants.
The car continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum of 78 BHP and 104 Nm of peak torque. There is a 1.4-litre diesel engine that produces a maximum of 67 BHP and maximum torque of 170 Nm. There are no mechanical changes in the vehicle and both the engines come with 5-speed manual transmission.
